Lyn Holmes-Kelly and Sue Hamill-Hope together form Acustaple Uk Ltd.
We were trained in the United States with the founder of Acu-Staple, Robin Gibson and we are delighted to introduce this treatment to the United Kingdom.
Ear Stapling has been around for over two decades and is considered to be a combination of Auriculotherapy, Acupressure and Acupuncture. We call it Staple Puncture or Acupressure with stapling because it is a variation of auriculotherapy that places the staple at key pressure points to target weight loss, stress, tension, migraines and smoking cessation. For example, in weight loss stapling there is a reduction in cravings and the appetite is generally found to be curbed.Lyn and Sue
Auriculotherapy or Ear Puncture utilizes the body’s “micro-system” of the ear to treat certain parts of the body. It has been stated that there are over 700 different auricular points of the ear. We, of course, do not target all of these but concentrate on certain pressure points. There are numerous reasons to have the staple placed e.g. weight loss, migraines, stress, smoking cessation, chronic back pain and digestive imbalances. In relation to the weight loss staple, there has been a 90% success rate and a 85% success rate in the reduction of migraines and smoking cessation in the United States.
Please be aware that the staples will affect what your body needs most e.g. when targeting weight loss, you may lose inches at first, then pounds. You may sleep better than before, be less tense but not lose weight immediately. This is because the placement of the staples are targeting what your body actually requires first.
