Welcome to Healing Hooves
Healing Hooves offers animal reiki (a natural healing system from Japan) and animal communication
Our main therapist, Erica is a keen animal lover and is fully commited to providing high standards of care and service.
She is a Reiki level two practitioner and is experienced with working with a variety of different animals ranging from fish to horses. She is also experienced with animal communication and has communicated with a variety of dogs, cats, birds and horses.
Throughout her life, Erica has attended a variety of workshops and development sessions and is fully committed to continued professional development (CPD) to ensure that she keeps abreast of the latest industry standards and can offer the best service possible.
All therapists working with and for Healing Hooves are fully insured, qualified and experienced so you can be sure that your animal is in safe hands and that your needs and the needs of your animal will be understood.
Animal Communication
Animal communication, quite simply is communication with an animal. The practitioner will, using telepathy, open channels to communication with your animal and will relay this to the owner.
HOW IS THE INFORMATION GIVEN TO THE PRACTITIONER?
The information is given in a basic form and can be in a variety of ways, it can be in a variety of ways for example, via pictures or images, feelings, sensations and emotions which the practitioner receives and puts it into words for the owner.
WHAT CAN COMMUNICATION BE USED FOR?
Communication can be used for a variety of things, it can assist in picking up emotional and or behavioral difficulties, it can be used to communicate with animals who have passed to spirit, it can be used to ease the transition when buying or selling an animal and can be used to help settle the animal into his new home. In brief, it can be a way of bringing owner and pet together and assisting to strengthen the bond.
Reiki
Reiki meaning Universal Life Force Energy is one of the most ancient healing methods passed down through the centuries by Reiki Masters.
It is a hands-on therapy transferring Reiki from the practitioner to the horse or animal.
Reiki helps the body to heal itself, rebalancing areas where it is needed most.
BENEFITS OF REIKI FOR ANIMALS
The benefits of reiki for animals vary as each animal is different, however the common benefits include

- Increased feeling of well being
- Reduction of stress
- Removal of energy blockages
- Acceleration of the healing process (useful if your animal is recovering from an illness or surgery)

At Healing Hooves, we work closely with vets, trainers, blacksmiths, chiropractors and other health providers to ensure that we are able to provide a holistic approach to your animals needs.
