I am an experienced Reiki Master with years of experience working with people and Animals (especially horses). I provide Reiki treatments working sometimes with Crystals and sometimes just with Reiki energy to provide healing for any member of the family including pets. Reiki is a light touch or hands off complimentary therapy that works with energy which is used to tackle all sorts of issues whether they are physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Well-Being for you and your family including pets starts with the basics of having balanced and flowing energy. If your energies are balanced and flowing then your relationships, health and so on will also be balanced and flowing. If there is a misalignment in the balance or there are blockages these can cause issues, emotional, mental behavioural issues, stress and even physical pain. Reiki works with your energy and helps to promote balance and clears blockages to allow flow. When you contact me to book your Reiki I will ask for a general overview with regards to what you would like Reiki to address, for instance; you may have a dog who is always anxious and stressed and you would like him to have therapy to get this under control, or you may be finding life hard yourself at the present and need to relax and allow yourself time and space to just be. If you have any specific elements you wish to be treated in the session I will work on this but I will also always work on your whole wellbeing. If the session is for your animal I will ask a number of questions about the animal to be treated and ask you to advise your vet, so they are aware you are seeking alternative therapy for your pet (most vets are very supportive of this).
Reiki session for you
A Reiki healing session usually lasts around 1 hour, however for your first session or a partnership session please allow at least 1 1/2 hours. The session for you individually is generally performed in Yorkshireiki Therapy room a dedicated healing room in Pannal the room is easily accesible and on the ground floor, there is plenty of parking outside. On special request I can visit you in your home, however wherever possible Reiki should be performed in a queit, cleansed room in an environment in which you can totally relax.
Sometimes I will work crystals which will be aligned with the chakras on the body, I may also use a pendulum for dowsing - Reiki is very relaxing and does not cause any harm or pain.
After the session you should drink plenty of water and try not to do anything too strenuous for the rest of the day/evening.
Reiki Session for your animal
For sessions which include or are dedcated to animals, this will generally be performed in the place the animal feels safe, secure and relaxed which should be where the animal lives. I will visit and Reiki the animal and sometimes you (or the owner) at the same time. After the session you should ensure your animal has plenty of water available to drink and not excercise him/her for the rest of the day (if possible)
In order to ensure you or your animal do not enter in to any healing crisis as the body will begin the healing process at the 1st Reiki session and we need to ensure we complete the process, it is recommended that you (or your animal) has at least 3 Reiki sessions if at all possible. Some people continue with Reiki for months and some for years you cannot have too much and it continues to keep you balances and provides wellbeing.
It is perfectly safe to have Reiki anytime for any problem including injury, however due to legalities we cannot treat new mothers for 10 days after they have given birth.
