About Homeopathy

We all experience illness, stress, life concerns, shocks and changes in different ways. Homeopathy is holistic, any symptom - physical, emotional, mental or spiritual - can part of your individual state of health and well-being.

I work with anyone who would like to use homeopathy as part of the way they care for themselves or their family; people of all ages, from newborn, children, teenagers and men and women at all stages of life with a wide range of health concerns.

Homeopathy is a safe, gentle and effective method of healing stemming from two hundred years of observation, experiment and direct experience.

Homeopathic remedies are non-toxic and so ideal to use during pregnancy, while breastfeeding and for babies and children.

Remedies come from a vast range of sources from both nature and the world around us. They are prescribed according to clear principles and philosophy. One of the fundamental principles is known as “Like cures like” that is, a substance which causes particular affects when taken in a large dose, can be used in smaller, more dilute, amounts to address a similar pattern of symptoms.

What to expect from a consultation:

I am interested in what you would like help with, and in building up an in-depth picture of what symptoms you have and how you experience and respond to them.
Initial appointments are usually up to 2 hours long, which gives time and space to properly begin exploring your health concerns and well-being.

Please do contact me if you would like to ask anything about homeopathy and how I work.

After each consultation I will work to find a remedy which I believe best suits you as an individual and encompasses the symptoms you describe.

Remedies are prescribed with the intention of giving a stimulus to your system to regain balance and health.

Homeopathic remedies are prescribed for you as an individual, not for named conditions.
Remedies may be given as a single tablet, pillules, or a liquid with clear instructions on how and when to take them.

Follow-up sessions are usually arranged at 3 – 6 week intervals. These are a chance to assess how you have responded to your remedy. Timing of follow-ups will depend on what seems most appropriate for you individually.

Please do contact me to book an appointment, to ask any questions regarding homeopathy for yourself or your family or if you would like to receive information about workshops.

Homeopathy courses

Introduction to Homoeopathy:

Workshops : Homeopathy and Holiday Health

Support your health both before going on holiday as well as treating minor ailments while away.
Acute first aid situations, help with your family’s response to the stresses of travelling, jet lag, extra exercise, late nights and unfamiliar food.
You might also want to see a homeopath who can help work on a pre-holiday plan for you and suggest a travel kit that meets the challenges of your particular trip.

Homeopathic remedies can be used to help with the distress of
bumps, bruises, sore muscles, digestive upsets, sunburn, anxiety about flying, jet lag or nausea from motion sickness.
Common sense measures and a sensible approach to safe food and drink, covering up in sun and keeping hydrated etc are of course also essential.

I'm offering this workshop with basic information about useful homeopathic remedies and how to use them.

Please do contact me for more information or to book a place.
