Sue Wheeldon

A compassionate,approachable, professional counsellor who also has a good sense of humor.
With 12 years experience working at an established counselling service and private practice, working with people of all ages, individual and couples, dealing with a wide range of issues including;
  • relationships
  • bereavement and loss
  • suicide
  • self harm
  • abuse (domestic, childhood and sexual abuse)
Respecting your confidentiality in accordance with the Code of Ethics set out by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and The National Counselling Society.

Qualified with Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and work in the Integrative Approach

What will happen at my first appointment?

This is commonly referred to as an assessment; it is a free appointment which takes place in a safe, calm and confidential environment.

It is an opportunity to explore some personal background and assess if the counsellor is the right person to help you.

The Counsellor will explain what confidentiality means.

Fees will be discussed, and you will be given the chance to ask any questions you may have.
There is no commitment to continue



Getting started means taking the initial step

A short phone conversation during which you can ask me questions and tell me a little of your issues.

Call or email me directly with your phone number and we can arrange a free assessment.

Short and long term counselling available
Appointments available ; Week days and early evenings
Easily accessible by car, public transport ( rail station and bus stops close by).
Train station approximately 15 min walk

£40 per session for individuals
£50 per session for couples
Concessions available for people on low income.




Qualifications
