Hi, my name is Jackie Ashdown and I am the creator of “The Food Confidence Formula”.

My mission is to educate and empower my clients to permanently change their eating habits by giving them the knowledge and confidence to eventually ‘go it alone’.

Typically, they are very confused by all the conflicting information and misinformation around food that bombards us all every day – it is SO confusing! A prime example is eggs, one day eggs are bad for you, the next they’re not – what is a person to do?? “Eat a balanced diet” – now, unless you are a qualified Nutritionist, who knows what THAT is supposed to mean!?

Well I’m here to help you make sense of it all.

My clients are regular people who are sick of yo-yoing on fad diets, they want to eat real, tasty food while losing weight and keeping it off. Gaining loads of energy and staying healthy is normally high on their agenda too, now and into a ripe old age – if you are looking to gain lots of muscle or get ‘shredded’ this is not the programme for you.

About Jackie:


Jackie is originally from New Zealand and grew up participating in a wide variety of sports and developed a love of the Great Outdoors. She is also a qualified sports and therapeutic massage therapist and from there her passion for training, nutrition and the positive affects on health and wellbeing grew. Jackie moved to the UK over 10 years ago, not long after arrival started on studies to further her fitness and nutrition knowledge – this is on-going, there is always something new to learn! Experience in working with a variety of people over the years has taught Jackie that there is no “one-size fits all” when it comes to a fit and healthy body – we are all individuals and should be treated as such.

Qualifications:
  • Nutritional Therapy (DipNT CNM): The College Of Naturopathic Medicine.
  • British Association of Nutritional Therapy (mBANT): A full member of BANT and abides by their strict code of ethics.
