SMD Counselling offers a dedicated, friendly, effective and professional service in the heart of Runcorn, offering clinical and Christian counselling.
About Me
My name is Sandra, I am a Clinical and Christian integrated counsellor. I have practical and theoretical knowledge of a wide range of approaches in counselling due to being an integrated counsellor.
Within my church I am a pastoral visitor. I am fully insured, have supervision and am a member of the ACC.
I use a variety of counselling styles, to suit your needs as follows:
- Person centred
- Pychodynamic counselling
- Cognitive behavioural therapy
I have worked as a counsellor within the voluntary sector for a variety of charities including:
- The Alder Centre, Liverpool- working with parents who had lost a child.
- Age UK- working with the older age of society specialising in bereavement.
- Cancer Care- working with those suffering from cancer and their families.
- Women Aid- working with vulnerable women and their children dealing with abuse.

Sessions priced at £40 per hour
(if more sessions are required after 8 weeks these will be priced at £30)
Telephone counselling £30
Couple counselling £50
Reduced rates for over 60s, students and unemployed £30 per hour (id required)
Counselling day courses available on request
