Welcome to Reiki Healing
Like many others I live a very busy life juggling the demands of my family with work, in the past few years have discovered Reiki as a wonderful way to recharge my batteries. A Reiki treatment relaxes and energises the ever essence of our being, enabling us to be revived and move forwards in life. When used regally without restrictions Reiki can deliver the most extraordinary benefits.
A Reiki treatment lasts approximately 50 minutes and can be the laying of hands on to the body or energy channelled into the Aura, whichever is felt is required. I practise both at home and at Salisbury District Hospital and charges differ slightly according to where you have your treatment.

About Reiki
Reiki is the name given to a spiritual relaxation technique developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the mid 1800's. The healer is simply a channel for the energy pass through to wherever it's needed in the recipient.
Various types of 'healers' feature throughout history such as Jesus and Witches, all of whom were victimised for their gifts. In almost every religion there is reference to some kind of healing. Reiki is often translated to 'the Universal Life Force' and it is believed that Reiki has Buddhist origins, however Reiki holds no belief system therefore anyone can receive treatments and be attuned to give them.

For a long time before discovering Reiki I felt my life lacked meaning, I struggled as a single parent and suffered greatly with stress. I discovered Reiki quite late in life after many years of searching in the physical world for something that was missing, for something which would help me feel at peace. I explored the obvious options in order to find something which would complete me; relationships, alcohol and work. Of course none filled the gap.
Eventually I had to search within myself and face my demons, it was a period of deep reflection which has led to rediscovering who I really am. I have met some wonderful people; teachers and friends all of whom have added to my learning and led me to the wonderful art of Reiki and the realisation of my healing gifts.
I am overjoyed that I have now completed my Rieki Master Teacher training and can now help others to learn how to help themselves during their every day life. one of the benefits of Reiki is that it helps you to relax and let go of negative issues or past experiences that may hold you back in life and learning the art of Reiki and becoming empowered means that you can assist your own healing, which is truly empowering.
