Fiona Roskilly - Red Sky Therapy
Do you want someone to listen and really hear you without judgment, agenda or burden? Psychotherapy can give you time just for you.

Perhaps you want to try to understand or make sense of who you are or things going on in your life in a private and supportive environment. Perhaps you are unsure what you are looking for, but feel you are seeking something.

People seek therapy for different reasons, including:
  • abuse
  • anxiety
  • bereavement and loss
  • confusion
  • depression
  • despair
  • drug, alcohol or other addiction
  • eating disorders
  • family difficulties
  • feeling low
  • health related problems
  • relationship challenges
  • self-harm
  • sexual issues
  • stress
  • terminal illness
  • victim of crime or violence

Or, more broadly to explore their thinking and awareness of themselves.

My experience

Before training as a psychotherapist I had various roles within healthcare, working with people (and their families) who have different difficulties including mental health conditions, additional learning needs, life threatening medical conditions, and poor or ailing health. I have seen how challenging it can be to live with such daily struggles.

My background also includes professional roles within corporate legal and financial sectors. I understand the stresses and strains of the corporate environment as well as the pressures of working in the voluntary, local authority and public sectors.

Originally from the southeast I have lived in the southwest for nearly 15 years. I have also travelled worldwide.

My current work in the NHS has so far involved helping people with a range of emotional challenges such as abuse, anger, anxiety, communication difficulties, depression, financial worries, grief, isolation, loss, relationship struggles (parents, siblings, partners, children, colleagues), sleeping problems, chronic fatigue.

About me

I am a Psychotherapist in training with the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). The training is comprehensive and results in a Masters qualification (MA). It is accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) which means the course meets UKCP standards. I am currently in my third year and upon qualification I will automatically be placed on the UKCP register of psychotherapists.
With sufficient experience and support to have set up my own private practice, and as a psychotherapist in training, I offer professional individual psychotherapy to clients at reduced rates. I receive regular supervision with a UKCP accredited supervisor as well as continuing support from BCPC.

I also volunteer at the NHS and as such I hold an enhanced CRB (DBS) clearance check. This position involves weekly professional peer group meetings. In addition I attend continued professional development (CPD) courses.

I am a member of BCPC, a psychotherapist in training with UKCP and a student member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their codes of ethics and conduct.

As well as working in the NHS I see private clients in Bristol through my practice Red Sky Therapy.
