Pulse Yoga is a totally new exercise paragon, this ideal form of exercise applies postures using free weights & micro movements & free weights to basic yoga postures. A Few Words From Sharon

Choosing the right teacher is important

Sharon has been practicing various styles of yoga for over 14 years, she loves all styles but especially dynamic energetic styles of Yoga & has a passion for practicing in the heat, which lead her to becoming a teacher. She graduated from the first Yogahaven Teacher Training course & passed with distinction & has been teaching regularly at Yogahaven in Brighton ever since. Sharon is also a Full Time Course Tutor on the Yogahaven Teacher training programme & travels out to Morocco several times a year. She has completed a teacher training course in ‘Yoga for Athletes’, know as Pulse Yoga in Colorado & is the first to bring this new & exciting style of Yoga to the UK.

ONE TO ONE Sessions

Private yoga instruction gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with me. Privates are taught in the comfort of your own home, and each session will focus on your individual needs, with gentle hands-on instruction. Learn proper alignment for your specific body type, address injuries or life changes, and deepen your understanding of yogic breathing, yoga philosophy, and meditation techniques. About Yoga Bodies Brighton:

I am a Register Yoga Teacher available for private 1-1 sessions, groups, classrooms & corporate classes.

WHERE:
I can teach yoga from the comfort of your own home or in a studio located in Brighton, office meeting room & even outside space when the weather get’s warm.

LEVELS:
I teach all levels of Yoga – beginners, intermediate & advanced. All the styles that I teach can be adapted in accordance to your experience.

AREAS:
I am able to teach in the following areas: Hove & Brighton, I am willing to travel further if it is accessible by public transport (travel costs will then be charged).

STYLES OF YOGA:
Hatha Yoga - which is a gentle form of yoga, I can easily adapt & tailor a sequence for your needs & personal requirements. This is great for beginners or if you are more suited to slower paced practice.

Dynamic Yoga - which energetic dynamic sequence of postures, great for balance, co ordination, building strength.

Vinyasa Flow - which is a constant, flowing, invigorating practice, which cultivates heat in the body & is performed to music. Fantastic if you have lots of energy & looking for a way of burn off that excess energy & stress.

Pulse Yoga - which is a new & exciting style of yoga, I am one of only two teachers in Europe qualified to teach a new & exclusive style of Yoga. Pulse Yoga incorporates asana postures with the use of free weights with micro & macro movements, this tones, sculpts & defines your body & targets trouble spot in in the body, it has fabulous results!

WHAT WE WILL COVER IN CLASS:
Breath control(Pranayama), Asana(Postures), Kriyas(Cleansing Techniques), Sound(Mantra & Chanting), Relaxing(Mediation). I also like to play music in my class but if you would prefer not too, we can leave out the music.

TAILOR MADE PROGRAMME
Get exactly what you want from your Yoga practice, you may be working with injuries, hankering after a gentle & calming lesson to balance out your hectic life, fancy restorative relaxing class or may really want take it up an notch or two with a dynamic sequence of postures to use up some of that excess energy.

MY APPROACH

I believe in teaching with an open heart & mind, listening & respecting your body. I encourage you to leaving your ego behind & by doing this you will discover your true-self, which will lead to lasting happiness. I like to incorporate positive affirmation & gratitude into my yoga practice & the yoga I teach, I believe this keeps the mind & body in balance & reminds us of who we really are.

MY EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Yoga regularly at Yogahaven in Brighton since June 2009, upon completion of my 200Hr RYT Teacher Training Course which is accredited by The Yoga Alliance.

I am a full time Course Tutor on the Yogahaven Teacher Training Programme where I travel out to Morocco several times a year to teach there.

In March this year I completed a course in a new style of Yoga called Pulse Yoga; I am one of two teachers qualified in the UK. Pulse Yoga combines Yoga postures with the use of free weights with micro & macro movements to tone & sculpt the body. I currently teach Pulse Yoga at two studios in Brighton, with the view to roll this new style of yoga out to gyms & other studios.

I have also covered classes in Yogahaven Birmingham, The Natural Health Centre Brighton, The Yoga Garden in Storington & Sompting Community Centre.
