About Us
Pensham Fields Bed & Breakfast is a country house on a smallholding, surrounded by market gardens and beautiful views of Bredon Hill, within the Vale of Evesham. The market town of Pershore is just a mile away, dominated by its ancient Abbey, with the river Avon flowing close by and offers excellent shopping facilities with specialist independent retailers and a covered market. The area is also abundant with excellent pubs, restaurants and local theatre for evening entertainment.

We have two double ensuite bedrooms, one of which can be converted to twin beds. Both bedrooms have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and wireless internet access. Our location is ideal as a base for touring, midway between the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. Within a 30 minute drive you can find yourself in Shakespeare's Stratford-Upon-Avon, historic Worcester or the regency town of Cheltenham. The local area offers a wide selection of attractions including Broadway Tower, Warwick Castle and the West Midlands Safari Park. For outdoor enthusiasts there are public footpaths and bridleways adjacent to the property and we are very conveniently located for walkers following 'Shakespeare's Avon Way'. The local roads around Bredon Hill are ideal for cyclists and more challenging terrain can be found in the nearby Malvern Hills or Forest of Dean. Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy uses yoga practices to improve life and health wherever possible. Based on a system which takes into account our 5 states of being according to yoga: body, energy, mind & emotions, knowledge, joy. Supporting these levels as a means to recovering health and strength.

Yoga therapy is useful for:
  • Stress related illness of any kind
  • Physical mobility problems such as arthritis, frozen shoulder and back pain
  • Low energy states such as chronic fatigue and ME

At Pensham Fields we are able to offer yoga therapy on a one-on-one basis. This is a caring and extremely effective therapy that targets your need head on. An initial consultation is followed by a treatment programme tailored to your individual requirements. Pam Griffiths has a Teaching Diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga and is listed on the Register of Exercise Professionals, specialising in designing programmes to suit the students level, with modifications to overcome different medical conditions and limitations.

Therapy may include:
  • Yoga instruction and assistance with posture, mobility and strength
  • Breathing practices
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Meditation where appropriate
  • Development of energy understanding

Reiki

Good health and vitality depend on energy flowing freely through the body. Stress, tension, illness and inner conflict can cause energy to become congested. Reiki works on dissolving the 'blocks' to stimulate the body's innate healing ability and inspires deep relaxation, balance and harmony.

At Pensham Fields we can offer individual Reiki sessions with Pam Griffiths who is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner.
