What Is ThetaHealing®?

ThetaHealing® is a method of natural healing that combines spirituality & science. It is a powerful system of self, emotional, physical and spiritual development for anyone ready and committed to moving forward, creating positive changes in their life. It uses the low theta brain wave frequency that is usually experienced in deep meditative or dream states.

What does this mean to you?

Everyone has beliefs and feelings that creates their day to day life. The empowering ones create achievement, success and positive outlook. Limiting beliefs and feelings create blocks and obstacles which can be obstructive, and create negative situations in your life. These can include your career, relationships, physical health, finance and home life.

The conscious mind holds the beliefs and feelings that you are aware of whereas the subconscious mind stores the beliefs and feelings that you are unaware of.

The healing process works by utilising the power of your natural brainwaves to access your subconscious mind. This is where the limiting beliefs and feelings that block you from achieving your life goals are stored.

Once accessed, we are able to use the ThetaHealing® technique to change limiting beliefs and feelings into empowering ones creating positive change in your life and those around you.

NLP

NLP is a set of guiding principles, attitudes and techniques about behavior in real life. It gives us choice; choice to choose our behaviours, emotional states and physical states of well-being by understanding how the mind works. It removes self-imposed limits and helps to focus on what we really want to achieve in life.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is one of the most advanced technologies available today for creating human change both in individuals and groups in Business, Education and Therapy. It is a key to reaching goals and achieving excellence.

Neuro: The concept is that all behaviour is physiological (i.e has its origins in neurological processes such as sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) using the central nervous system and the autonomic system primarily. With this in mind our understanding is that the body and mind are one system. What this shows is the relevance of physical changes linked with emotions, e.g. the dry mouth when we feel anxious, butterflies in the stomach when we feel nervous, going red with embarrassment.

Linguistic: We use language to order our thoughts and communicate with others. As neurological research has moved on since NLP was used as the terminology we now know that communication is much more subtle, and takes place at more complex levels e.g. body language and pheromones. However the cognitive “thinking” part of the brain still relies on language to make sense of our experiences and to interpret our world.

Programming: Patterns of how we organise ideas and actions. Often we find we use the same patterns repeatedly. Once a pattern is learned the brain will continue to use it until something different is programmed (learned).

There are many reasons for choosing to use NLP to improve your life. What happens as a result of a session is in your hands. Past problems can be explored and NLP techniques used to set you on a path towards achieving your goals.

So, what is NLP?

NLP is a short term goal-orientated and practical therapeutic approach to problem solving. Whatever issue you have, NLP can help.
NLP is the practice of understanding how we organise our thinking, feelings, language and behaviour to produce the results in life that we do.
NLP provides a set of tools and techniques that help deal with and change unhelpful thought and behavioural patterns.
NLP introduces new, positive and constructive ways to improve your life by using these tools and techniques to model success achieved by respected people in their field and so give us the ability to achieve the same.
You will be amazed at what can be achieved when you discover your true self. The power to change is within you!

What is Time Line Therapy®

If I were to ask you if you ever got angry, sad, hurt, or felt fear or guilt at any time, but didn’t know why. Or, on remembering an event from your past, you felt an emotion good or bad, I know that after some thought you would say Yes!

Why do I know that?

Because we are human and we consciously and unconsciously attach emotions to memories!

With this in mind, I think it was Viktor Frankl who said,

“How can a man be free when he is a prisoner of his mind?”

So, What is a ‘Time Line’?

Time Line Therapy™ is a further development of the NLP model and was articulated in 1988 by Tad James and Wyatt Woodsmall.

A ‘Time Line’ is a visual representation of the way we store our life memories of everything that has ever happened to us (the past) and what we are expecting is going to happen to us (the future). We automatically know the difference between something that happened yesterday and something that happened in our childhood. This is because our Unconscious Mind has time/date stamped the memory. What most people don't realise is how much information is stored within these memories. The most relevant things that are stored with the memories are how we felt at the time and what we have made it mean now. As time goes on, these memories and events become behaviours. Behavioural change in an individual takes place at a subconscious level. People don't change consciously. Obviously there are positive and negative behaviours. We want to change our negative behaviours and make them positive. In doing so, we can live a more fulfilling, happy life.

‘Time Line Therapy®’ is a specific process designed to trace a particular negative feeling, belief or limiting decision back to the first time in memory that it can be found.

The theory behind this is that issues in the present day are likely to have their roots in the past. So, what is bothering us now is not what is happening now but what it has reminded us of from the past (at an unconscious level).

‘Time Line Therapy®’ practice allow us to go back to the very root cause of an issue and resolve it at the point in time while retaining the learning from the situation, but removing the negative emotions attached. The issue could have started in childhood, during our birth, while we were in the womb, during an event in a past life or it could have been something that happened to one of our ancestors. Be aware that, the words like ‘in the womb, past lives etc.’ are used as representations of time to the unconscious mind.

With ‘Time Line Therapy®’ we gain emotional control over our lives. Inappropriate emotional reactions such as bursts of anger, periods of apathy, depression, sadness, anxiety and chronic fear are responsible for preventing people from achieving the quality of life they desire. Limiting decisions such as "I'm not good enough" or "I can't get things right" create false limitations and hamper our ability to create reachable and attainable goals and outcomes. By releasing these emotions from the memories, we are then able to react freely to future situations without the emotional baggage of the past. This can be done in minutes rather than days, months or years.

So, what if you could go back and re-do any old decision that you made in the past, and decide in a new way — a way that supported who you want to be now? Then, what if we could have every event in the past reevaluated itself in such a way as to support the way you wanted to be now? With 'Time Line Therapy®', we also have the ability to re-evaluate our past, and change any decision which limits us. To a certain extent our behaviour is guided by the decisions that we’ve made in the past. Whether conscious or unconscious, these decisions affect how we behave now in the present. Our decisions are stored in our Time Line, and through our Time Line we gain access to them.

Finally, what if you had a reliable way to design and create your future the way you wanted it, and actually have that event or thing happen? The processes for designing and creating your future are as powerful as the processes for releasing negative emotions, and clearing out limiting decisions.

What is Hypnotherapy®

Hypnosis and NLP form an excellent treatment for dealing with issues, as these issues and the feelings associated originate in the mind.

How it works!

In hypnotherapy you are guided into hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. It is literally therapy done while in hypnosis and can be thought of as an effective and speedy form of psychotherapy. Hypnotherapy can change your patterns of behaviour and perceptions, enabling irrational fears, phobias, habits, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome. With the help of the hypnotherapist, you are able to look at problems differently and maybe discover solutions to problems that had been missed before. Hypnotherapy and NLP can quickly and effectively treat many of the things that you might otherwise have considered visiting a counsellor for, and a lot more.

Using hypnosis to gain access to the unconscious mind allows the therapist to suggest positive and beneficial ideas which become firmly planted in your unconscious. It is also possible to recall and resolve past memories which relate to current blockages. Old, outdated and inappropriate patterns of behaviour can be dropped, in favour of new and more rewarding ways of being.

It is generally assumed that hypnotherapy is limited to dealing with problems such as smoking and excess weight, however a major part of a hypnotherapist's practice is in dealing with such problems as stress, anxiety, panic attacks, as well as physical complaints such as migraine, arthritis, digestive disorders, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and numerous psychosomatic illnesses.

What simply is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is simply a state of highly focused concentration and heightened awareness. You unknowingly experience this natural state every day. It's just a way of tuning out distracting thoughts, and focusing your attention, just as you do when you're daydreaming, or when totally absorbed in a film, book, TV show, or favourite hobby, or even when driving.

Hypnosis is thought to work by altering your state of consciousness, in such a way that the analytical left-hand side of the brain is quietened down, while the non-analytical right-hand side is made more alert. This allows the unconscious mind to come to the fore, where it is able to accept suggestions more easily. The unconscious mind contains all your memories and experiences, and controls your automatic thoughts and behaviours, and this is the part which has to change for your behaviour and physical state to alter.

Massage Therapies
Swedish Massage

Massage has been used for centuries as an instinctive way to relieve muscle tension and to relax the body and mind. Swedish Massage uses a variety of stroking, kneading, pressure and flowing movements over the body to treat and prevent a huge variety of complaints, or can simply be used for deep relaxation. The way that we feel can have a direct physical effect on our body, so by inducing relaxation and stress relief both the body and mind can benefit from a massage treatment. Massage is an holistic approach that can be used alongside conventional medicines.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage focuses on releasing the deeper myofascial restrictions of the deeper muscles, tendons and ligaments of the body. It uses techniques to work below superficial connective tissue using fingers, hands, elbows and knuckles. Movements to release chronic muscle tension are slow, deep and purposeful strokes with more direct pressure applied across the grain of the muscles.
Deep Tissue Massage can break up and eliminate scar tissue from previous injuries. A common problem is that stressed muscles can block nutrients and oxygen from getting to where they need to go, and this will cause inflammation that allows toxins to build up in your muscle tissue. The inflammation and toxins contribute to pain and stress. This massage technique breaks up and releases the built-up toxins by loosening the muscles. With the toxins released, blood and oxygen can circulate as they should through the body.

Deep Tissue Massage also helps to free trapped nerves, oxygenate poorly circulated areas and allows the spine and joints to relax into alignment.

As with all types of massage, it can also promote an emotional release during a session as the body holds emotions in the deeper layers.

Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet that involves hands on stretching and massage to “open” Sen Lines, along with the use of a stick to stimulate the reflex points on the feet which correspond to the internal organs of the body. Thai Foot Massage stimulates these points to promote general health and well-being.

A Treatment in Thai Foot Massage will usually last for one hour .

Thai Foot Massage takes it’s origins from China where the art has been practiced for over 5000 years, and Thai Foot Massage, as seen everywhere in Thailand today, has developed from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean foot masseuses.

Thai Foot Massage stimulates the internal organs, giving the receiver an holistic treatment.
