About Mountain Therapy
Mountain Therapy is run by me, Nia Harries and began trading in July 2013.
I have been quite interested in complementary therapies for several years; and having enjoyed many wonderful different treatments the world over I looked into complementary therapy a little more, and finally decided to train in some of these therapies myself.
After returning to education as a mature student I am now a fully insured member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. I have a diploma in complementary therapies as well as additional IHHT qualifications in Swedish massage, anatomy and physiology and facial skincare. I am also a practitioner in Indian head massage and Thermo-auricular therapy.
As well as training in complementary therapy treatments, I found a pull to return the area where I grew up at the foothills of the Black mountain in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park. I have found the scenery and mountains to be extremely calming and therapeutic, and so the name 'Mountain Therapy' was born!
My treatments are based around re-balancing the body and tailoring treatments to suit the individual's needs. I am pleased to be able to provide Reflexology, Swedish massage, Aromatherapy massage using pre-blended oils, organic facials, Indian head massage, and Thermo-auricular therapy (also known as Hopi ear candling).
I will be looking to add additional treatments over time, and look forward to developing an even wider range at Mountain Therapy. I've been delighted with the reactions from my clients following a treatment from me, and it gives me great satisfaction to be able to help them with relaxation, help with easing various ailments and general well-being.

Pamper parties- the ideal "girl's night in"
Mountain Therapy is pleased to be able to offer pamper parties as an option for you and your friends or family.
They are ideally suited for between 4 and 8 people and can be done in an evening or during the day if preferable, but each treatment must be pre-booked in advance. To find out more about our pamper parties please do get in touch.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS
