Reiki What is Reiki
It is a non invasive, gentle and nurturing approach to healing that puts the client in charge of their own healing process. It is a powerful complementary therapy that can be safely used along side any orthodox health care. Whatever the condition or stage in your life journey Reiki will bring your body back into balance.
What happens during a session?
Each session normally begins with a short chat to catch up on what has been happening since your last visit, followed by 45 minutes of total relaxation as you lie cocooned in an envelope of unconditional loving energy as you allow all the cares of the world to melt away.
As a practitioner I will place my hands gently on or just above your body facilitating your own healing process. The key word here is balance. When we achieve balance all the worries, anxieties and stresses will become a thing of tha past as the healing energy helps you to feel relaxed and re energised even after the most stressful day.
Many people experience the energy as a flow of warmth, coolness or tingling, some may experience colours or have profound experiences during their session while others feel nothing at all. Whatever the personal perception of the energy as you relax your body draws in as much energy as it needs and uses it in the most appropriate way for each person at any particular time
How many sessions will I need?
Acute conditions tend to respond faster than chronic conditions, it took a long time for a chronic condition to reach its present state and it may take time to see a change.
It can be useful to have at least four sessions for any long term condition although you will often find relief after the first session. Everyone is different and some people like to come for Reiki healing session just to give them some me time and a chance to recharge and balance their energies.
Palliative Care
Reiki can also be very useful for palliative care offerring a relief from pain and anxiety and may help ease the side effects of invasive treatments such as chemotherapy. It will bring a sense of peace and serenity when death is imminent turning what can be a frightening experience into one of loving acceptance.
In addittion to an improved quality of life for the patient it is also of great benefit to the family providing a support system during the patients illness and through the bereavement process
Self Development
Reiki is also a powerful self development tool that can help you find harmony within modern society and help you move forward in a more balanced way. It is very east to learn and once you have received a Reiki attunement from a qualified Reiki Master Teacher, the ability to heal will always remain with you.
Having problems with your riding?
From stiffness and injuries that need healing,to lack of confidance or overcoming trauma after a riding accident Reiki will help to get you back on track. If its an emotional or relationship issues between you and your horse thats causing you problems we can offer a joint healing session for you and your horse
Where are we?
Reiki healing can be received at our farm In Loxhore or if travelling is difficult we can visit you in your own home, stable yard or any hospital or hospice.
