Swedish massage: Has been used for many years for its healing and relaxation benefits for tired, overworked and stressed bodies. By using a series of classical long gliding strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the superficial layers of muscles, a skilled practitioner will aid the release of tension and stress found within the muscles, promoting enhanced relaxation and well-being.
Deep Tissue massage: Is applied to the deeper layers of muscles in the body to ease and relieve pain, improve posture and increase flexibility. It is used to release chronic patterns of muscular tension by means slow deep strokes and direct pressure concentrating on specific areas of muscular problems a practitioner will use soft tissue release (STR) and NMT neuromuscular technics to aid recovery. Indian Head massage:This ancient therapy has been in use for thousands of years relieving tired stressed fatigued individuals of headaches, insomnia and stress .By having the scalp, shoulder and neck skilfully massaged .Leaving the client focussed, less tiered and alert.
On Site Chair Massage: A unique therapy based on Japanese acupuncture points called meridians which are energy lines on the body. When these specific points are pressed they help to restore balance, flow of energy and release tension. The treatment is performed whilst the client sits in a specially designed chair. The client remains fully clothed with no use of oils/creams. The treatment is non-invasive which makes this type of treatment perfect for offices, seminars and home visits. Being a small team, we are able to to offer flexible appointments and block bookings with ease. We are a two member team - so you always know who tho therapist is going to be.
Biographies
Robbi Williams
MSMA, MIHST, LSSM Diploma, ITEC Diploma
A fully insured professionally trained Massage Therapist and Sports enthusiast. Robbi has played football, athletics and kung fu. It was inline hockey which really took him far, playing at national and international levels (European Championships) 1995/1996. Massage has given him the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people with that same desire of achievement. In 2002 he qualified in Swedish massage techniques with ITEC, in 2003 he successfully completed Sport massage at the London School of Sports Massage, and also qualified in Indian Head Massage Techniques. In 2004 he qualified in On-site Chair and Deep Tissue Massage techniques. Robbi continually strives for self improvement and knowledge. He is a member of and registered with: Sports Massage Association, Member of Sport Federation and Holistic Therapists.
