About Me My name is Janet and Reiki came into my life in April 2006. After looking for sometime I found a Reiki master teacher who I started training with September 2006 for 1st degree Reiki which is at the level of self healing and where you can treat friends and family.
Slowly the idea of starting my own holistic therapy business grew so in August 2007 I trained to become a 2nd degree Reiki practitioner at which level you can take on clients and start a business if you so wish.
Some time ago I started to have regular Indian head massages and I enjoyed receiving them that much that I have decided to have training in this therapy too. At the moment I’m in the middle of doing my case histories and hopefully in the near future once I have taken my exam I will be able to offer Indian head massages to my clients.
The reason behind the Lilac Tree name is that when I first started treating people my therapy bed was lilac. So when I decided to start up the holistic therapies business it seemed that the colour lilac should be within the name and at the end of my garden I have a lilac tree hence Lilac Tree therapies was born.
