About Me
My name is Santa Talavera and I can offer you a range of holistic and energy therapies. I have 12 years of experience as a therapist, and I also facilitate workshops in self awareness and self development. I am energetic, passionate, creative, dynamic, caring and ultimately humanistic; I am committed to creating awareness of choices, and empowering people in their resources to activate these. Utilising the skills of touch and massage, reflexology and crystal as well as energetic healing to enhance a sense of well being and bring balance to the emotional, physical and spiritual self. Working with a range of ages and abilities, having encountered various syndromes, I hold a duty of care for the people I work with, respecting their individuality and also supporting their process with appropriate talking therapies. My natural inclination to care and nurture brings about a feeling of safety and a sense of comfort and ease to those I meet.
I have been committed to being conscious of my own spiritual journey and growth, and applying this to my everyday life, enabling me to respect each person’s journey, their individuality, and assisting and supporting them in their process.
Therapies
Reflexology
A natural therapy based on the principle that every part of the body has a corresponding point in the feet. By applying light pressure and touch techniques to various points on the feet can help release blockages and toxins and help restore a natural equilibrium, good health and wellbeing. Reflexology promotes relaxation and assists the body with its own healing process.
Crystal Therapy
Crystals have been used for healing since ancient times by many different cultures. It addresses and treats the individual as whole not just physical symptoms. The aim is to restore harmony and balance, assisting in preventing symptoms as well as treating them. Crystals are placed on and /or around the body during the session. Crystals really do have the ability to heal, they have a natural perfect structure within them, and it is this natural perfect structure that assists in bringing our own structure into perfect balance. One of the reasons that crystals work so well with us is that we have crystals within our own body, so we resonate well with crystals.
I have also trained in aromatherapy and massage, and will sometimes use massage and oils in the treatments I do.
