Colon hydrotherapy or colonic irrigation is a gentle process of continual bathing of the colon (large intestine) by infusing warm filtered water into the rectum. The continual bathing allows the water to cleanse the
colon resulting in a gentle release. The objective of this cleansing is to rebalance the colon by harmonising the natural intestinal flora.
At Body Vibrant we use the FDA-approved Dotolo Toxygen pressure colon hydrotherapy system.
Purified and temperature-controlled filtered water is fed into the colon, at a controlled rate. The abdomen is gently massaged to dislodge impacted matter and to expel the waste through a tube.
Our therapists are qualified members of the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy.

How long does a colonic session take?
The first session can take up to 90 minutes including the pre assessment and after care advice. Thereafter the treatment time can vary from 20 minutes to 45 minutes.
