Nutritional Therapy

Our diet is vital to our long-term health ~ this is a stand which we believe in wholeheartedly and one which is becoming more widely accepted in many parts of society. However, over the last 30 years or so the question of choice and the wide array of international and convenience foods available to the consumer has led many to departing by a long way from our traditional sources of nutrients. It is thought by many that the quality of our food is better now than ever before. This may indeed be true as a potential, yet the processing and refining of so much leaves our diet too frequently depleted in the essential nutrients and the balance of nutrients that we really need for optimum health.

Nutritional Therapy is much more than advice on "healthy eating and food choices". Making appropriate nutritional choices with professional guidance is by far the cheaper, easier and more effective option than waiting for medical intervention in the event of many health problems ... and also in avoiding/reducing the impact of many degenerative diseases. It is a holistic, complementary approach ~ best appreciated when working with traditional medical advice. As well as all aspects of diet, the influence of lifestyle (especially exercise/fitness) are carefully considered to encourage the development of appropriate habits.
Nutritional Therapy has a substantial pillar to support the approach in that it considers biochemical analysis to establish the body's individual needs ... unique to each of us; this with the support of a wide array of testing techniques carried out by professional laboratories either in the UK, or in the USA. makes it a very potent therapy.

Personal Training

We have a menu to offer, one that will change your life.

You can select from that menu, giving you a mentor and professional guidance with your fitness programme or your sports specific conditioning ... in a form that fits around your exercise programme, lifestyle and budget.

Time is too tight!

Power Plate® sessions can reduce the amount of time you need to spend in order to achieve great results. At our Windover Fitness Studio in East Sussex we use Power-Plate® Pro-5 equipment.

Personal Training is appropriate for all, not just those seeking a 'perfect physique'. It can help you find a fitness and vitality that you thought was beyond reach. This can be achieved quickly or slowly, the pace is yours to determine.

We could meet once or twice a month (this is very common), or even quicker if we meet weekly or even two-to-three times a week for a short period. For some it is more appropriate to meet every 2 to 3 months to check progress and ensure that your exercise is : safe, appropriate and progressing.

In any event, it would probably be normal to expect your exercise programme to be self-determining within about 6 to 9 months from the start. That is to say that the Personal Training programme would probably last about 9 months, and from that point forwards you would have the information and skill you need to maintain the advances made and in most instances to continue your progress for years to come. If you require the security of training with someone ... especially if training outside on your own, then we are often asked to maintain a longer period for support.

Sports Conditioning for competition would usually be over a longer period, subject to the nature of the event(s) ... and may well be ongoing.
