i have worked as a clinical reflexologist for 14yrs. more recently in 2008 i qualified as an advanced psych-k practitioner and a reiki master in 2009. i have always had a keen interest in people, their health & well-being and in particular natural medicine. i have a passion for my work, a little of which i hope you will take away with you after each treatment!

Reflexology
Reflexology is used to encourage the body to work more efficiently, loosening the structure of the body and helping to unblock your vital energy or chi. Through specific reflexes/points mapped out on your feet, lesley will work using some pressure and massage. Reflexology is often deeply relaxing and can bring about very positive changes in our health and well-being.
Following illness, stress, injury or disease your body can find itself in a state of “imbalance”, and your body’s vital energy/chi pathways can become constricted preventing the body from functioning effectively.
Reflexology is a safe and effective way of encouraging you to relax and in turn helping improve the energy flow, restoring the whole person not just the symptoms of disease.

- skeletal and muscular injuries- neck and back problems, sciatica, sports related, rsi
- hormonal issues such as pmt, fertility issues (conception, natural delivery) menopause and endometriosis

The uses of reflexology are endless and no-one is too old or too young to be treated.

Psych-k® (psychological kinesiology)
Psych-k is all about working together to unlock your full potential and realizing all of your goals, and creating the life you have always wanted to live.
This pioneering technique was developed by robert m. Williams in 1988. It involves a combination of already proven techniques from modern and ancient cultures. Kinesiology is used to establish communication with the subconscious mind. Then together we can replace old beliefs that we have with new life supporting beliefs that will enable us to be the person that we have always wanted to be. With the help of the “whole brain posture” (sitting with your arms & legs crossed). This helps to reconnect the left and the right brain bringing a balance and whole brain state which is ideal for changing subconscious beliefs.

Reiki
Reiki is a gentle but very powerful treatment that works on all levels of the body allowing healing to take place. Reiki’s origin is in japan and the word breaks down into rei - meaning universal and ki - meaning energy. Your reiki therapist is a facilitator who uses this energy and channels it working with some hands-on and some hands-off work during a treatment. This is done with the client fully clothed and usually lying down. Reiki is very calming and it works with the chakras, making sure that they are open and balanced and your energy is flowing. Chakras are energy centers found along the spine. They can open and close depending on the emotional state that we are in. If they are closed, they can leave us feeling tired, flat and unable to cope with all that life throws at us. Reiki can help to re-open these chakras thus allowing your energy to flow freely, enabling your body to heal itself more efficiently and a sense of balance return. Reiki can benefit a wide range of ailments e.G. Stress, hormonal issues, emotional and physical problems.
