I’m Lisa Moore and I’ve had my own Holistic and Sports Therapy business now in Leamington Spa since August 2002. I’ve operated out of The Dell Practice, The Traditional Acupuncture Centre and more recently from my own clinic The Leamington Therapy Centre based at No 7, Clarendon Place, just by the fire station, where I now currently have 3 other Sports Massage Therapists working with me.
I started out with Aromatherapy and Reflexology and over the past 10 years have expanded the treatments that I offer. I now specialise in Sports and Remedial Massage. Other treatments which I am qualified to give include Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candles, Hot Stone Therapy and Bowen Therapy. I am also a Baby Massage Instructor so I can teach you how to massage your baby in a group or on a one to one basis. Please see the News section for up and coming courses.
I’ve also worked at many conferences providing stress busting massage (which I offer as a lunchtime special) and at sporting events. For 3 years I had the contract to provide sport and general massage for WWE wrestling whenever they were at the Birmingham NIA and NEC and Wembley Arena.
Every year I refresh my knowledge and add to my existing qualifications. I have expanded my skills to include Aromatherapy and Reflexology during pregnancy, Aromatherapy in alcohol & drug dependencies, Aromatherapy in cancer & palliative care and Sports Injuries & Ultrasound Therapy.
You can get £5.00 off your first treatment with any of our sports therapists if you mention the website.

Sports Massage
Sports massage can be used to aid recovery from an injury or an event or as part of a training programme. It is not just for elite athletes but the club sportsperson as well. This form of massage focuses on specific muscle groups and is therefore tailored to the individual, it combines a deeper massage with trigger points compression, neuromuscular techniques and ultrasound therapy to reduce soreness and help enhance power, endurance and flexibility. This massage isn’t necessarily for the sports person it’s also very useful in helping to release tension and working out the knotted muscles which can arise from remaining in similar positions for long periods of time, at work, at a computer or even driving. Sports/Remedial massage can help with:
Shoulder & neck problems
Back problems
Pelvic & Groin Strain
Hamstring Problems
Sciatica
Knee, Ankle & Foot problems
Reflexology
Reflexology is a relaxing treatment based on the principal that reflex points on the feet are connected to corresponding areas throughout the body. In this way the feet can be seen as a map of the body. Gentle specialised massage techniques are done with thumbs and fingers to the reflex areas, which help correct imbalances throughout the body and release blocked energy. We are all qualified RockDocs offering Fascial treatments and taping.
Reflexology can help with:
Sciatic pain

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy works with the pure properties of plants, using their essential oils in a natural, complementary therapy which can help improve both physical and emotional well-being. Massage is one of the ways to apply the essential oils into the skin, bringing about a physical effect through chemical changes in your body’s system and a psychological effect through inhaling the fragrances.
Aromatherapy can help with:
Stress & Tension
Circulatory Problems
Depression
Immune Deficiencies
Sports Injuries Treatments
Treatment of sports injuries benefits individuals at all levels of sport and physical activity. It aims to optimise your body’s recovery time to allow you to participate in sport. Every sport has different demands on the body and when treating sports injuries it is important to condition the body to cope with these demands. This means that every treatment must be adapted to the individual and what they wish to achieve. Treatment of sports injuries helps to increase your range of motion and flexibility as well as increasing strength in the injured area.
Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is a non-invasive, holistic therapy consisting of a sequence of gentle moves over muscles and soft tissue interspersed with periods of rest. The therapist uses thumbs and fingers on precise points on the body making gentle rolling-type moves which aim to stimulate energy into the muscles and soft tissue and encourage re-alignment of the body to relieve tension and reduce pain. This treatment can be applied through light clothing. Bowen therapy can help with:
Shoulder & Elbow problems
Sciatica
Hip, Pelvis and Knee Problems
Back problems

Muscular tension
Depression
Circulatory problems
Hopi Ear Candles
This is a great treatment for nose, ear and throat problems, it can also be an alternative to ear syringing. The candles are made from linen paper and soaked in essential oils and are placed in the ear one at a time. The warmth helps soften the ear wax and any impurities in the ear whilst the candle creates a light suction action, which also generates a massage like effect on the eardrum.
Hopi Ear Candles can help with:
Tinnitus & Sinusitis
Sinus related migraines
Head colds
Ear wax build up

Lisa is amazing – I am running the Coventry Half Marathon on Sunday 1st March and this is my third sports massage and my legs have never felt so good. I am able to run further and with hardly any aches the following day – Thank you so much Lisa

I have been using Lisa for a sports massage for over 5 years. (I play a lot of sports). Without a doubt, I would recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a first class service.
I have seen other therapists in the past and have to say that Lisa is in a different league. I think that she is probably one of the best in Warwickshire if not the best.

I first met Lisa a few years ago when I was just 2 weeks into my marathon training program, I was out running and developed a calf injury. Within just one treatment I was running again pain-free and decided to continue with maintenance treatments throughout my training program, I also recommended Lisa to my wife for her maintenance treatments & since then have done so to most of the guys I play football and cycle with.

Waking up almost pain-free after injury treatment and ultrasound last night – miracle worker!
