Reiki
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is the Japanese word for ‘universal life energy’, the vital energy around and within all living things.
The name Reiki is also given to a system of natural healing which evolved in Japan from the experience and dedication of Dr Mikao Usui (d. 1926). Dr Usui dedicated his life to finding a method of healing which could be practised by anyone. For many years he studied ancient teachings, researched, prayed and meditated until he was able to receive the gift of healing and the ability to pass it on to other's he spent the rest of his life practising and teaching Reiki.
Today Reiki continues to be taught by Reiki Masters who have trained in the tradition passed down from Master to student. There is no belief system attached to Reiki and it is not necessary to have any particular knowledge or ability to learn or benefit from Reiki. The only prerequisite is a desire to be healed.

A Reiki Treatment
A full treatment arranged with a practitioner usually takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The recipient lies on a couch and is made comfortable. If it is not easy to lie down the treatment can be given in a sitting position. Anything which might dig in or hinder relaxation, such as a belt with a big buckle, can be removed but clothes are kept on. The practitioner gently places her or his hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions on the head and body. Reiki will heal whatever is needed, working with the body’s natural healing wisdom. Neither practitioner nor receiver has to use any effort of will or concentration during this process.
Learning Reiki
The ability to use Reiki for your own healing and to help others can be attained in 2-4 consecutive days by attending a First Degree Reiki course offered by a Reiki Master. buring this class students are initiated or attuned to the form of Reiki which has been passed down to the Master via a line of Reiki Masters, starting with Dr Usui. The Reiki Master will teach a sequence of hand positions for treating self and other people, and how to use Reiki with animals, plants, in an emergency, and in other situations.
Conditions Helped
It is possible to heal (ie return to a state of health and harmony) at any level of being: physical, mental, emotional arid spiritual. Acute injuries or problems involving current circumstances or happenings can often be helped to heal very quickly. Chronic illness or long-term conditions may take more time. Reiki can help when a terminal illness has been diagnosed, because even if the disease is riot cured there is usually great benefit and enhancement of the quality of life with a sense of peace and acceptance during the time remaining. Reiki can also be used in support of medical treatment, eq to speed recovery from surgery or even in advance of surgery.
The Reiki Precepts are 5 suggestions to guide Reiki practitioners in their daily living. They are adapted from the teachings which Mikao Usui asked his students to keep uppermost in their minds and which he referred to as ‘the secret method that summons happiniess’.

CRYSTAL & GEM THERAPY
Crystals have been around since the beginning of time and the ancient civilizations had been working with them when we were still in the caves.
Each crystal has their own unique energy field that works in harmony with the environment that they are in. Man relies on them for industry work so why not work with them for better health.
They are very helpful in shifting unwanted energy blocks in and around the persons body that might be the cause for long term problems.

In the first treatment session a consultation form is filled out which by law has to be done. Then the client will lie on a couch or the chair, they will be fully clothed but shoes are off The therapist will use a crystal pendulum and intuition to determine which technique and crystals are best suited to help the person. They are then placed on and around the person for a few minutes.
The first session can take up to an hour and a half then about an hour there after.
