Reflexology
Reflexology is a holistic healing technique. It works on the principle that there are reflex points in both the feet and hands that relate to all organs and systems of the body. The therapist can detect where there are imbalances and congestion within the body via the feet in the corresponding reflex area. By applying pressure, using specific thumb and finger techniques, these balances can be cleared. This will also stimulate the body’s own inner healing mechanisms to help restore the body back to its natural balance.

Maternity and Fertility Reflexology
Are you planning to have a baby, struggling to conceive, pregnant or just had a baby? ; Then Maternity/Fertility Reflexology could be of great benefit to you. Reflexology can help to create a more natural balance of hormones allowing optimal conditions for conception, pregnancy and birth. Research has shown that ladies receiving regular Reflexology throughout their pregnancy generally experience shorter and easier labours, with less medical intervention.
Pre conception
It is important when planning to have a baby, for both you and your partner to be in the healthiest state possible, physically, mentally and spiritually. Regular Reflexology alongside a healthy diet and lifestyle can help achieve this. Reflexology has been shown to be highly effective in reducing stress and anxiety, a major factor in infertility. It has an excellent reputation for helping sub-fertile couples to conceive.
During pregnancy
Reflexology during pregnancy can increase your energy levels and can alleviate those pregnancy discomforts such as; Morning sickness, backache, constipation, oedema, fatigue, heartburn, indigestion, insomnia, symphysis pubis disorder.
It provides a general sense of well being for you and your baby.
Should you go past your due date you may like to receive a treatment to attempt to prime labour. There is no guarantee that this will be successful for everybody but it will help your body prepare for when labour does begin.
Reflexology is perfectly safe during pregnancy. It cannot ,does not and will not shake a viable foetus loose. The most common cause of miscarriage is believed to be chromosomal abnormalities in the foetus.
Postnatal care
The agony and ecstasy of birthing may leave you feeling jubilant, exhausted, sore & sick!
The balancing, harmonising and restoring qualities of Reflexology are superb at this time. This therapy can play a vital role in recovering after birth by re-balancing the body back to a non pregnant state, increasing milk production, increasing energy levels and helping to combat postnatal depression
Maternity reflexology is a complimentary therapy for maternity and fertility clients and is not a substitute for obstetric or medical care. It is recommended that you inform your midwife or GP if you intend to have reflexology treatments during your pregnancy.

Thai Foot Massage
Thai Foot Massage, an ancient method of massage which incorporates aspects of Reflexology, Shiatsu, Chinese & Thai Massage.
Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the foot and lower legs, applying pressure to specific reflex points using a wooden 'Thai Foot Stick' to stimulate the reflex points on the feet which correspond to the internal organs of the body, and working on the meridian or 'sen' lines to energise and create balance to the body.
The benefits of this massage include; Improved circulation and toxin removal, stimulated lymphatic drainage and immune system boost, reduced stiffness and improved flexibility, accelerated physical healing, stress relief, improved sleep and clarity of mind.

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy Massage is a relaxing, soothing massage using a blend of pure essential oils selected to suit each individuals needs. Essential oils are extracted from plants, herbs, flowers and trees from all around the world. Each oil has its own unique aroma and therapeutic property and can be relaxing, stimulating, invigorating or sedative. The oils work through inhalation and absorption through the skin, helping the body to return from an imbalanced state, which can lead to illness, to one of balance and harmony enhancing health and well being.

Reiki
Reiki, from the Japanese meaning “universal life force energy” is a gentle non-invasive therapy. It is usually felt as a warm and gentle feeling creating a deep sense of peace and relaxation. It calms the mind and emotions, bringing you into balance and harmony and can help you to release negative thought patterns and energy blocks.
The treatment involves lying fully clothed on a couch while the practitioner’s hands rest gently on or just above various areas of the body. It is safe for all ages and can create many beneficial effects including stress relief, relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being.

Hopi Ear Candles
Earcandles have a purely physical function. A light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the Earcandle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and calmness and along with a facial & scalp massage can help in several ways. The herbal vapours soothe any irritation of the outer ear and helps to strengthen the immune system. Blood flow is stimulated, strengthening the lymph glands and the mild suction action can help regulate the pressure systems within the ear.
Treatment can be beneficial for excessive ear wax/Earache/Ear noise. Sinusitis/Rhinitis/Glue ear/Colds & Flu. Headaches/Migraines. Frequent air travel. Stress/Nervousness.
