SERVICES
Qualified in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexolgy and KMI Structural Integration

I can offer you that relaxing Therapeutic massage to ease away the stresses and tension of everyday work and life.

Do you have aches and pain in your body that has just occured or has been long standing? Deep Tissue Massage can help ease these conditions.

Are you a club runner or Fun runner? A regular Sports or Deep Tissue Massage during training, before or after competing can help prevent injury or ease muscle fatigue.

Do you have a Sports Injury? Sports or Deep Tissue Massage can help you get back to playing again.

My overall aim:
  • Is to ease the pain and symptoms you are experiencing

  • To ease the knots and adhesions which as a result of injury or misuse, have deveolped over time

  • To help you improve your performance in your chosen sport, at work or in life in general, by maintaining your body so it can perform to the best of its ability.

Are you suffering from long term niggles or restrictions? Why not try Kinesis Myofascial Integration(KMI)? The KMI "recipe" for structural Integration is based around the "Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridans" concept which are explored in the book written by Thomas Myers.
It may not be due to the muscle itself but rather the connective tissue which surrounds it. Structural Integration uses massage techniques which works with this fibrous network call fascia helping to stretch and release it. It is the knots and restrictions in this connective tissue that often weakens it causing the repetitive injuries often incurred by athletes. Getting rid of these helps strengthen the tissue thereby both improving your performance and reducing the risk of injury.
It is the fascia which holds us in the postural patterns we become accustomed to. Through the correct manipulation of this tissue we can help correct habitual postures.

This process of "Structural Integration" requires a series of 12 sessions.
Each session focuses on a different area and level of the body and we gradually work our way through most of the myofascia(the combination of the muscle and fascial tissue) of the body.

It can be trailed on a shorter 1-3 session sequence.

For further information on any of the therapies please do not hesitate to contact me.
