The beginnings
Caroline Drew a Medical Herbalist and local resident noticed this empty unloved building and thought it looked Apothecarial! Thus began her impetus to open Chartwell Apothecary and Natural Healing Clinic. Having worked in the field of complimentary health for the past decade she wanted to bring many natural healing disciplines together in one location to offer an holistic and natural approach to maintaining health and well being for the residents of Westerham, surrounding areas and further afield.

During dispensary hours our Medical Herbalist can offer free over the counter advice. For more complex health matters individual consultations are available.
Herbal Dispensary
What ever you require assistance with from coughs & colds, to bites & stings, even aches and pains and sprains - we can help.
We have an extensively stocked herbal dispensary on the ground floor where our Medical Herbalist is able to make up preparations for each patient after a consultation. These may take the form of creams, teas, tinctures, inhalations, washes, poultices, or ointments.
An extensive range of organic dried herbs and spices are stocked, which can be purchased individually, or can be found in expertly blended infusions. We also stock a beautiful range of therapeutic plant preparations made by Verde of London which are natural and organic products hand made since 1990.

Massage therapy can be used for the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions by eliminating pain, improving joint mobility, circulation and reducing muscular tension. - Medical Herbalist - Caroline Drew
Medical herbalism harnesses the medicinal properties within plants to support aid, and ease ailments within the body naturally. Individually prepared medicine for each patient in the most appropriate form. - Osteopathy - Genevieve Westoby and Julie Brown
Osteopaths work mostly on muscles and joints using holistic and patient centered approaches to treat and manage a wide range of conditions such as back pain and headaches. - Reflexology - Sue Dixon
Reflexology stimulates specific points predominantly on the hands and feet causing a therapeutic affect to corresponding organs around the body. Used to treat specific ailments or as an uplifting tonic.
Opening Hours
The Dispensary is open 10:00am - 14:00pm Monday - Saturday for over the counter advice and collection of prescriptions.
Pre-booked private consultations with our therapists are offered from
8:00am - 18:30pm Monday - Friday
8:00am - 13:30 on Saturdays.
