SERVICES
Providing Herbal Healthcare in Hitchin

People seen at my practice are assessed in a holistic way. The first consultation not only covers current and past medical history, but also looks into lifestyle and diet. All consultations are on a face to face basis and are in confidence. Postal, telephone or e-mail consultations are not permitted under UK law. Time is taken to get to know the person. Once written notes have been taken any appropriate clinical examination is carried out, a diagnosis is then made and a treatment plan is worked out. The herbal preparation is then made up in my dispensary specifically for each person.

Consultations

All Consultations, which must be on a face to face basis, are carried out by appointment only at a mutually convenient time and date.

Consultations are made by appointment only, please call 01462 457 551.
Regretably there are no retail sales either from the practice or by mail order.

What forms do herbs come in?

The herbs dispensed usually come in the form of tinctures and fluid extracts. These are produced by reacting the herb in question with alcohol to extract the active principles we are looking for. These are taken orally. Creams, massage oils and herbal infusions may also be employed. All the herbs used in my practice come from professionally qualified UK manufacturers. All are subject to stringent quality control methods and are subject to assay. No products used in my practice are tested on or sourced from animals.
