I began my holistic career whilst working with horses. Breeding and training competition horses meant spending alot of time and resources with the Vet. I began taking an interest in Herbs, Bach flower remedies and Homeopathy, which led me to take a course on Aromatherapy, herbs and natural remedies and manipulation for horses, gaining credits.
Next was learning about the ancient practice of Reiki and being attuned in stages 1 & 2 of the healing art. Then came a course on Crystal healing for which I felt an enormous empathy. I was using my abilities mostly on horses and small animals, then began using the healing knowledge on people. After a number of years, I needed a new challenge and embarked on a course on Aromatic Swedish Massage, gaining a credit, followed by Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Advanced Back Massage and Sports Massage Techniques. I have certificates in all therapies and belong to The Equine Herbs, Natural Remedies and Aromatherapy Association, the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations, the Guild of Holistic Therapists and am insured for these practices.
We moved to Brick Kiln Farm in 2007 and have adapted the old farmhouse into a working smallholding where we host holistic retreats and rural bed and breakfast breaks. I also use my studio for holistic local treatments and am able to travel locally to clients unable to travel or who prefer the comfort of their own home.
The studio is a warm, comfortable place with subdued lighting and tranquil music to encourage you to relax, unwind and unburden your mind, body and soul. This experience can be preceded by making use of the adjoining cleansing room to enjoy a sauna and shower prior to your treatment.
All treatments are preceded by a comprehensive and strictly confidential consultation. Some medical conditions may require the consent of your Doctor. If you think this may be necessary, I can supply a form for the doctor to complete prior to your visit.
We can also supply crystal jewellery and holistic pamper baskets. These make perfect thoughtful gifts.
Brick Kiln Farm can be found by taking the B1117 either from the A140 (Ipswich - Norwich road) taking you through Eye to Horham, or from Halesworth through Stradbroke to Horham. At Horham, turn into the Worlingworth road (next to the Post Office) Brick Kiln Farm will be found after a sharp right hand bend in the road, on your left. Enter through the white farm gates.
