About Debbie

I'm Debbie & I’m passionate about helping people feel good using natural therapies.

I am a qualified Complementary Therapist trained in Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology and Thai Foot Massage.

I think reflexology is wonderful as it can help with so many different things. It’s an holistic treatment that has been used for centuries to help alleviate all kinds of ailments, from anxiety and infertility to dietary complaints and insomnia, as well as supporting mothers & mothers-to-be through conception, pregnancy, labour and post-natal.

I am also qualified in Thai Foot Massage, an invigorating massage therapy that encourages circulation by working on the feet, ankles, lower legs and knees.

I have a calm and restorative approach and will use my specialist techniques to bring you wellbeing in both body and mind.

I am based at the Goose Green Clinic of Osteopathy in East Dulwich.

I look forward to helping you feel more balanced, energised and refreshed. Get in touch with any queries and I’ll get back to you!

I am a fully insured member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) and the Complementary Therapists Association (CthA).

About Reflexology

Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive holistic therapy. It is based on the principle that there are reflex areas on the feet and hands which correspond to all the organs, glands, and parts of the body.

Reflexology uses a unique combination of finger and thumb pressure applied to these reflex points to promote positive physiological changes in the body. Stimulating these reflexes can help with many health problems in a natural way.

A reflexology treatment is tailored to each individual client and seeks to restore balance, improve circulation and blood supply to the body, encourage relaxation and invigorate the health of the client.

Maternity Reflexology

Reflexology is a wonderful treatment to receive when you are pregnant and specialist techniques are used to relieve and prevent all the conditions associated with pregnancy.

Using reflexology may also be really beneficial for couples seeking to conceive, for pain relief during labour and to help stimulate a faster healing process post-natal.

Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage developed around 20 years ago as an offshoot of Traditional Thai Massage which has been practiced in Thailand for centuries. Techniques from Traditional Thai Massage have been combined with elements of Chinese, Japanese & Korean reflexology, Shiatsu and Chinese massage to produce a treatment both stimulating and incredibly relaxing.

The treatment includes working the 'Sen' lines, a network of energy channels in Traditional Thai Medicine similar to the nadis and meridians of Ayurvedic medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine respectively.

Each treatment lasts one hour and follows a sequence which covers the knees, lower legs and feet using oils, working dry and using a specialist stick to work reflex points. Brisk movements, precise pressure and long strokes give the recipient a wonderfully invigorating experience.

The relaxation that Thai Foot Massage brings to the feet and ankles and the muscles in the legs makes it a great treatment to receive, particularly for those who do lots of cycling or running.

Other benefits of Thai Foot Massage include:

Improving circulation in the feet and legs - great for diabetics & pregnant women

Stimulating lymphatic drainage – removing toxins and boosting immunity

Encourages flexibility of the feet and ankles and relieves tension in the legs

Promoting general wellbeing and better sleep

Stimulates the body’s organ function

Aids elimination

Relief and prevention of tension, headaches, migraines, sinusitis & pre-menstrual syndrome
