About the Practitioners

Joanne Lawson (Massage)
Joanne works in the therapy room at Henderson Street and is skilled in a range of wellbeing treatments. Joanne is very experienced therapist who will adapt a treatment to suit your preferences. She has a natural flair for deep therapeutic massage. Jo has been practicing massage therapy since 2003 when she gained an HND in beauty therapy with sports massage. She also offers reflexology, hot stones massage and Indian head and is happy to do longer sessions combining treatments. Jo is also excited to be offering pregnancy massage. After over 3 years she continues to be a valuable asset to the business and provides a great level of service to all her clients.

Angus Robertson (Massage)
A few years ago Angus changed his career from that of an engineer to that of a massage therapist. Angus experienced back pain for twenty years before finding a gifted massage therapist who showed him the way to pain free life through massage treatments and Pilates exercises. This experience inspired him to train in massage for himself and he qualified in therapeutic massage in December 2008 with the Scottish School of Professional Massage. He now looks at his new career as 're-engineering' the human body through holistic body work. Angus gives a very thorough massage treatment, he feels out musculoskeletal issues and follows them to the source, giving clients great results with balancing postural issues and reducing chronic pain. Angus is also using Instrument Assisted Massage techniques when appropriate. This can mean faster recovery with less pain in both old and new injuries. Angus also holds certificates in Reiki and Indian Head Massage.

Caitlin Stokes (Massage)
Caitlin competed a degree with Honours in Psychology and Sports Studies at Stirling University in 2012. In 2008 she qualified as ITEC Holistic Therapeutic Massage Therapist with the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine. She is a very talented massage therapist and has a natural ability to know which depth is appropriate and the areas that need massaged the most! She also loves horses and spends her spare time competing her own horses and teaching eventing to children. She recently qualified in Equine Massage.
