When I was a teenager, my cousin took me to an animal shelter to volunteer. Being a depressed teen, I quite quickly found that when I was helping these animals, all my sadness went away & I felt as if I was pursuing my purpose.
Originally I went on to study animal science so as to help animals, but quite soon I realized that I would like to help my fellow humans as well. So after receiving my bachelor's in animal science, I started studying Acupuncture & Naturopathy (I'm still in the middle of these studies).
I was, at the time also working in an animal charity and due to various reasons the job was quite stressful. This stress started affecting my health (including my digestive health).
This is how I found colon hydrotherapy: I decided to study it, as I truly want to help people in similar situations. I believe it is a very strong healing tool if a person is ready to take responsibility for their health.
I studied colon hydrotherapy under a RICTAT trainer and I am a qualified practitioner member of RICTAT. I have full public liability and indemnity insurance.
I am a very curious person, so learning is always very appealing to me and there are so many new things I would like to learn. In addition to deepening my knowledge in colon hydrotherapy, naturopathy & acupuncture, in the nearest future I plan to study a course in Massage, Reflexology & Aromatherapy as well as one in Bach flower remedies.

Colon Hydrotherapy
The colonic could be described as a gentle internal bath. The treatment begins, when the therapist thoroughly lubricates a sterile disposable speculum & then gently inserts it into the client's rectum. Although the insertion might seem a bit strange the first few times, there is generally no discomfort upon insertion. The speculum that is inserted has 2 pipes inside: one for the water being introduced (coming from the machine) & one for waste removal (going straight into the waste outlet). As the water gently flows into the colon, the wastes and water are gently removed at the same time, lying on the couch. This means there is no straining to hold the water in and the client can lay back and relax, while the therapist and the machine perform the therapy. The therapist will perform certain techniques to help remove waste or gas: these can include massaging the client's abdomen, closing the outlet pipe for a short period of time to help water reach and then remove the wastes, or briefly changing the water temperature to stimulate the colon.

Colon hydrotherapy is an effective therapy, however, it is important to know that it works best in conjunction with a healthy diet, exercise and a positive lifestyle.

Bach Flower Remedies
The way I understand the Bach flowers is there are many emotional scales we can experience. For example, a scale of hopelesness/apathy to hopefulness /enthusiasm. The remedy that works on this is Gorse. But it doesn't pull us in either direction. It just shows us what the perfect state on this scale is and thus we can find it easier for ourselves.
I believe all of us could use some emotional clearing, as everyone has had some emotions in their life that they locked away and they will impact our health & ability to create success in our lives. Interestingly, many people find, that when we work with these remedies, their life starts to change in a positive way not just from inside, but also their outside situation can start to shift.
