What is Hypnotherapy, and How Can It Help Me ?
Hypnotherapy is a method of learning to access a state where it's possible to mend habits and adapt for effectiveness. First to dissolve are the communication barriers within your own mind towards intuitions, and then those you have towards others. This is all through choice, by creating the safety for you to do this.

The mind has two gears: practical problem-solver and contented sociable passenger. Each is a side of the brain: they take turns to lead. Problems arise when you overuse one side. The natural handover is dreaming. Dreaming is your natural process of recovery and imagining. Hypnotherapy is consciously creating dreaming to amend things yourself from the inside.

Therapist-led hypnosis is possible because we form mental understandings from hearing spoken language: and deep down, we instinctively trust each other, and care how we all feel. Hypnotherapy takes you to the core of your emotions and beliefs. From here you can clear out any habits with undesirable results, and install new better ones. Hypnosis lets you resolve a hurt without having to see or re-feel it.

When you are comfortable and enjoying yourself, you can entertain ideas without minding if they're right or not. Comedy is an example. You don't have to respond, self-defend or look good. So you can choose and use whatever works for you later. This is everyday naturally-occurring hypnosis.

How can it help you? Life changing Hypnotherapy can get you tangible results within the month, which are sustainable enough for you to take over control: for

* career, self-value, and life confidence
* weight success and healing eating issues
* health, wealth and vitality
* habits and addictions
= smoking, drug dependence, gambling
* pain resilience, immune strength, and many physical illnesses where psychology may be a factor, or the doctors just don't know what's causing it
* releasing the hurting emotion attached to a thought or memory
* healing the heart of the issue, gently

Since the 1900s, hypnotherapy has vastly expanded as a health and mental health practise. We now use body language microanalysis and forensic linguistics to see where your understanding blocks are, and give you the tools to fill them on your own. It's now a recognised medicine by the British and American Medical Associations.

You're totally welcome to give me a quick call or an email if you're investigating whether this might be for you. Maybe it isn't ! But maybe it is. Quickest way to know for certain is to get in touch for a chat, and see how it sounds.

Like everything in life, if it feels right for you, then it probably is.

About me
For as long as I can remember I've been fascinated by the mind, feelings, and emotions. As a pre-schooler, I made up practises and tasks to make me feel certain and free. I attempted to cast spells of good luck over people. It seemed to work. We influence subconsciously when we're clear on the inside, and respond to the success we want to see, not what currently is.

As I progressed through my teens and university, I found I was good at reading emotions and seeing strategies for people. I wrote systems anyone could use to stay centred and true to their aspirations. This made pleasing sense, because a system can be made your own without my influence, reused on other problems, and shared . By accident I found out later that brain layout and activity matches some of the patterns I saw.

After I graduated in philosophy from Manchester, where I was a Samaritans counsellor and later ran the city service, I pursued my career in hypnotherapy. It fitted my ethics where psychology hadn't. Now in my 30s, I've been helping people professionally since 2004.

For your peace of mind, I follow the ethical guidelines and science of the Royal Board of Psychiatry. They oversaw my qualifying exam in hypnotherapy. This training was the first hypnotherapy diploma in the UK to be accredited as a University Final Year Degree Module in Medicine. I have since been recognised as qualified to practise by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, so GPs can refer you to me on the NHS.
I'm also an NHS trained Stop Smoking Advisor.

I’ve studied philosophy, counseling, psychotherapy, NLP, marketing, conversational techniques, applied psychosomatic medicine, neuropsychology, detailed body language, autism learning support, alternative healing modalities, ta'i chi, meditation and art therapy. I use techniques from each of these disciplines as they are needed.

As a public speaker, trainer, and seminar leader, I provide tactical life-changing hypnotherapy and organisational coaching to individuals and groups. I free people from limitations of perspective, and my services have helped create ideal work lifestyles and fruition environments for doctors, lawyers, architects, teachers, real estate brokers, stock brokers, editorial staff, musicians, movie directors, world champion athletes, and others. This principle is based on universal aspects of living and experience.

Focusing on methods that clear the way for harmonious relationships, prosperity, self-expression, and peace of mind, I'm experienced and happy as a contributing guest on radio and television as well as on stage in front of an audience. I'm also available as a keynote speaker, seminar leader, panelist and trainer on the subject of hypnotherapy.
