Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is an injection treatment used to eliminate small to medium size varicose veins and "spider" veins. "Spider" veins are superficial telangiectasias, tiny vessels that are red, blue or purple in color. The majority of these veins present as a cosmetic problem.

Microdermabrasiony
Microdermabrasion is a method of intense exfoliation (removal of top outer layer of the skin) that rejuvenates the skin to give it a fresher and cleaner appearance; by allowing ultra fine abrasive crystals to strike and "sand" the skin. At the sametime, a vacuum sweeps up the crystals and skin debris. It is non-invasive, painless, safe and effective in reducing age spots and delicate wrinkles or lines by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin - resulting in a firmer and more youthful looking skin.

Oxygen Facial
An oxygen facial is basically a high pressure blast of oxygen that feeds serums packed with vitamins, minerals and collagen into your skin. The result is a clearer, plumper smoother face and a younger looking you. An immediate change in appearance is common.

Tanning
Tanning treatments allow you to enjoy the effects of a golden glow, even if the sun lets you down. Tanning can take place either on a sunbed or solarium, which mimic the sun’s effects using UV light, or with a spray tan to turn you from pale to brown. The big fake tan benefit is the speediness of acquiring colour. We are pleased to offer the very best in UV free spray tanning. The renowned St. Tropez Airport is a temperature controlled spray tanning booth where the therapist applies a flawless spray tan. The treatment takes around 20 minutes and will give you an even tan that will make you look and feel great.

Electrolysis
This is another form of hair removal - it is considered to be the oldest of all the techniques and if conducted properly by a qualified therapist; hair removal is permanent in a small area of the skin. It will require multiple sessions and considerable patience ... but it will pay off in the end. The area mainly treated with Electrolysis is the facial area, though we at Essentials are experienced to use it on the under-arms and even the bikini area!

Chiropody / Podiatry
Mr. S. S. Munday, BSc, DPodM, CPS (Sports Pod.), MChS, HPC Registered – qualified from the London Foot Hospital in 1990 and worked in Central London and for Haringey Health Authority before starting his own privately run Chiropody/Podiatry practice called Leyton Foot Clinic. In 2007, Mr Munday decided to expand out and establish a base at Essentials Hair and Beauty Salon, St. Neots.
Mr Munday is a Chiropodist Podiatrist, Member of the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists (MChS) and Registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). Present day - everybody calling themselves a Chiropodist or Podiatrist has undergone a rigorous 3 or 4 year full time degree course at a recognised School of Podiatry, and is Registered with the HPC. Only then are they allowed to use the terminology of "Chiropodist" and/or "Podiatrist".
Podiatry in its modern sense involves total care of the feet and lower limbs and through them the whole body. The old fashioned idea that "Chiropody" was merely cutting elderly people's toenails is long since gone. The modern Chiropodists & Podiatrists are trained in all aspects of care for the feet and lower limbs, including the most common foot problems associated with every age group.
Essentially, our policy is to give you an open assessment followed by the most suitable treatment for your condition. We have invested over the years in the latest technology to extend our evaluation and treatments across a wide range of foot and limb related issues. The aim of this practice is to alleviate foot pain, improve foot function and try to prevent future suffering and deformity where possible.
