A gentle and powerful therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a complementary therapy that provides holistic support for a range of physical and emotional problems. It helps by integrating the mind/body/spirit and promoting the innate healing powers in all of us.

It is believed that ill health of all kinds, physical and mental, can be attributed to an imbalance or imbalances in the holistic body. CST can provide much needed support for the body to regain its own balance, thereby addressing many conditions.

CST is particularly effective following stress or trauma to either the physical or the emotional body. It can also help one to cope with the stress of modern life. The increasing secularisation, or lack of spiritual fulfilment, tends to leave an emptiness in our lives; the support of CST can aid the body to reconnect, integrate and fill that emptiness.

About Ed

Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST)
BA hons Humanities

I trained and qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist in 2006 with Thomas Attlee at The College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy (ccst) in London. After experiencing the profound and beneficial effects of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) in my life, I decided that this was my vocation. I was drawn to CST because it addressed the energetic body in relation to its physical manifestation and the healing potential therein.

My Humanities degree BA (Hons) incorporated linguistics and music. I played guitar and composed music in bands for about 30 years from the early 1970s. I still dabble a bit now.

In 1995 I trained as a massage therapist with MTI (Massage Training Institute).

Treatments

A CST treatment is very gentle and sometimes profound. All that is required of the client is to lie down, fully clothed, on their back and relax.

The practitioner uses a very light touch, sometimes not touching at all to work purely energetically.

After a treatment a person might feel uplifted or sometimes a little a bit 'spaced out' but any feeling of disorientation soon passes. One is usually left with a deep sense of relaxation

The frequency of treatments depends on the nature of the problem. Often, 5-6 treatments are recommended.

Some people like to have regular treatments throughout the year to maintain their balance.

Prices

1 hour session: £35
40 minute session for ages 0-12 (inclusive): £25

Sometimes the first session is a little longer but is the same price (as above).

If you find these prices unmanagable please talk to me as they may be negotiable.

Testimonials

If you are wondering whether to go and see Ed for CST then do not hesitate. He is a first-class practitioner. I have experience of a range of others and I rate him highly for the actual successful results he obtains in me. If you count spiritual aspects as important then you won’t be disappointed; if you view such therapy as being a simple mechanical process then you won’t be disappointed either. I have experienced failed treatment from therapists at both ends of this spectrum of understanding. I am simply happy that what Ed does works. If you want a chat then ask him for my phone number.

Cranio Sacral work is nothing short of a miracle! I started taking my 12 year old daughter to Ed 5 years ago and watched with awe her total transformation from an edgy, stubborn and difficult child to an open, easy going and thriving teenager, full of life force, positivity and well being... I know, people say it might have been just a coincidence... Well, since then I recommended a lot of my clients and friends to experience CST and the effect of it is unarguable! Ed is a profoundly humble, honest, experienced and deeply intuitive practitioner and I would highly recommend him to anybody for healing, recuperation, realignment or just rest and finding peace and connection to yourself...
Anastasia N, Cardigan

I have visited Ed as advised by another professional, my son was suffering with bad headaches which meant he was missing school for periods of time, this often happened when there were a lot of things going on at school and socially.

Ed treated my son a few times and the headaches became fewer and fewer. Ed provides advice and the treatment is given in a calm environment.

We as a family are very appreciative of his help.
Catrin E, LLandysul

Craniosacral Therapy with Ed has benefited myself and my family both emotionally and physically over the past 10 years. Many ailments such as knee pain, visual migraines, PMS, headaches and Bell's Palsy as well as fears and anxiety have been greatly helped or completely disappeared after treatments. I have deep respect and trust for Ed and highly recommend Craniosacral Therapy
