Welcome to Coaching Change

Sometimes life can throw things at us, so we need additional resources to overcome such personal hurdles - whether these are of our own choosing, by changing our personal circumstances, or we feel that our past has 'dealt us a hand' - that we would not have chosen for ourselves:-

Negative emotions - such as Anger, Sadness, Fear, Hurt, Guilt, Depression, Anxiety ......

Simply do not feel good, but can also create unwanted behaviours. Such emotions can be comfortably dealt with, in a way that you know has left you with a more resourceful state of mind. There is no need to re-live negative events in detail, to let them go.

Similarly - Limiting Beliefs - are those things that we believe about ourself and the world around us that limit our ability to do things, or reduce our self-esteem. These will also be overcome.



Both negative emotions and limiting beliefs create your state of mind and directly have an impact on your behaviour in any given situation, so dealing with these will create new patterns of behaviour focussed around what it is you want.

The session is typically done on a single day and can be done over 6-7 hours (or quicker, depending on what is to be done).

As a starting point - I need to get an idea on what it is you wish to work on?

Once I have this initial list from you - I will give you some tasking to undertake prior to the session. This will provide further valuable information about your emotions and behaviour patterns.

Typically - the first part of the Breakthrough Session involves going through the Significant Emotional Events from your past, to bring out the important aspects to be dealt with. We are looking for the 'root cause' of your problem as you experience it and the patterns of thinking and behaving that you used to do.

Then, once we have that - in the second part of our session, we will use various techniques from NLP, Time Line Therapy® and Hypnosis (each where appropriate) to enable you to let go of those old emotions and limiting beliefs - so you can move forward with a far more resourceful state of mind.



Time Line Therapy

This is how our brain organizes things, so that we know what we did 10 minutes a go, or yesterday, or last year ….. or even something we have planned for tomorrow! So, we can have a future based ‘memory’ also - of something we are yet to do. Imagine the thing you have planned for tomorrow … and somehow your brain knows you have not done it yet. This is because it is along your Time Line.


2001 - 2005 - 12 August, 2008 - Yesterday - 10 mins a go - Now - Tomorrow - Next Friday - etc


Have you ever over-reacted to something (getting overly angry, for example) and then later - once you have calmed down, thought to yourself “where did THAT come from?!”

Well, the reality is that you were not reacting purely to the thing that just happened, it was ANOTHER event at the end of a Gestalt. Another pearl added to the string …… so you did not just react to that new event .... it was added to the past number of ‘angry’ events, so felt MORE impactful than would have been the case, if you were simply dealing with the scenario that occurred in it’s own right.

Consider this - as you look at the event during which you became angry – take yourself to 15 minutes before the event had started .... and ask yourself …. NOW, where is the anger?

Well ..... it’s not there, because by definition - at that point in time you had not felt it yet!

With this principal, Time Line Therapy® allows us to 're-code' how you react to those past events - it’s like pulling out the string from the pearls. So in the future, when remembering those events, they no-longer have any 'anger' [or other negative emotion] attached to them and you simply see them for what they were – vitally, having preserved any important learnings from the situation.

It is a hypnotic process that does not require a formal Hypnotic induction - and as such is relatively swift ..... and you know immediately that it has worked.
