Staff
Paul Cameron
BSc(Hons) Physio, PG Cert Pain, Dip Ortho Med, Dip Mgmt, MCSP, IASP, MPPA
Company Director/Lead Physiotherapist
Paul is the owner and lead physiotherapist at Cameron Physiotherapy. He is registered with the Health Professions Council, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Physiotherapy. In addition he holds qualifications in Orthopaedic Medicine and Pain Management. He is currently studying his PhD in a pain related subject with the Centre of Academic Primary Care, Aberdeen University, and holds a number of positions with special interest groups. His memberships include the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), the Physiotherapy Pain Association, (PPA), the Scottish Pain Research Collaboration and the Aberdeen Pain Research Collaboration. He also lectures on a part-time basis on pain related postgraduate Masters Courses at Aberdeen University, and has a special interest in more complex conditions including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Phantom Limb Pain. He has worked in both the NHS and Private Practice, including roles as Professional Football Physiotherapist (Raith Rovers, Fife), and consulting work for individual dancers at the Scottish Ballet, Glasgow. In his spare time, Paul enjoys reading, snowboarding, rock-climbing and weight training.
Kim Brown
BSc(Hons), MCSP
Associate Physiotherapist
Kim Brown qualified with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy in 2010 and is quickly increasing her portfolio of experience through exposure to varying treatment styles. She is Health Professions Council registered, and a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. She has a varied interest within the physiotherapy field but particularly enjoys musculoskeletal and neurology. She has experience with football injuries whilst working with Cameron Physiotherapy. She also, as a previous gymnast herself has a specific interest in athletic and gymnastic injuries. Outside of work, Kim enjoys keeping active through the gym, skiing and coaching gymnastics.
