Hello, Thank you for looking at my site.
I trained as a Nurse during the 80's and have been a qualified Therapist since 1984. I also teach adults and children both individually, in groups and in workshops.
I am trained in a wide range of therapies, which I mix and match to suit individual needs. I like to look at the whole person rather than a specific problem, to ensure a positive outcome.
I am fortunate in my life that my experiences allow me a greater understanding and I also offer treatments that stretch from enabling conception, ensuring healthy pregnancies, helping natural birth, Genetic, Mental, Physical health and all well being, Childhood and Adolescent problems, through to Transition or death.
My qualifications include Reiki Master Teacher, ITEC Diplomas, CACHE in Playwork, C & G, FENTO, IKF,
I cover the whole of Dorset and parts of the New Forest.
Therapies
Reiki
Pronounced Ray Key - meaning Universal life force/energy Powerful, tranquil, calm, warm, gentle, natural healing energy. Increases energy, self confidence and resistance to illness. No clothing removed, energy is channeled through the practitioner to the patient.
Reflexology
Areas on the hands, feet and ears correspond with the organs and systems of the body. Gentle pressure and massage stimulates the body, improving circulation, boosting the immune system, removing congestion, alleviating painful symptoms, and improves general health without the side effects of medication. Only footwear removed.
Indian Head & shoulder Massage
Gentle, effective massage of the Upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. Inducing deep relaxation, a feeling of well being and rejuvenation. No need to remove clothing.
Hopi ear candling
Hollow linen tubes, dipped in beeswax, herbs and honey, work on a chimney principle. Warm vapour gently melts and draws wax/debris, relieving pressure and congestion. Calming the mind, soothing the sinuses and inflammation. Finishing with a relaxing face and scalp massage.
Kinesiology
Muscle testing is used to communicate with the body, providing immediate feedback, to restore balance, and stimulate the body's natural healing ability. Using the principles of Traditional Chinese acupressure, positive affirmations and chiropractic techniques. No need to remove clothing.
Rejuvenation Facial
Rejuvenating facial gels cleanse & acupressure massage to smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, helping the pores to breathe. Skin looks younger, feels vibrant and revitalised.
Metamorphic Technique
A light touch to stimulate the Spinal reflexes on hands, feet and head. Deeply relaxing. Used for Genetic, physical, mental issues, learning difficulties, overcoming addictions, eating disorders, phobias, stress etc.
