Treatments

Swedish Massage
This involves a variety of techniques designed to relieve muscle fatigue, soreness and stiffness and to relieve tired and stiff joints and encourage better circulation. Regular treatments will improve muscle and joint suppleness, relax the nervous system and boost immunity. Psychological benefits include reduction of stress and anxiety.

Stone Therapy Massage
Combines the use of hot and cold stones with traditional massage techniques to bring about deep relaxation and balance on a physical, psychological and spiritual level. Water heated basalt stones are placed on the body in strategic positions and are used to massage the client. The heat provides an added dimension to the treatment and is extremely good for tired and sore muscles.

Indian Head Massage
This form of massage works on the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face. The areas are massaged using firm yet gentle rhythmic movements that involve acupressure points. This therapy is great for relieving stress and tension in our everyday lives. It has a strong effect on the three higher chakras –the mind, body and spirit. During the treatment the client is seated and remains fully clothed.

Holistic Massage
Choose holistic massage to feel relaxed, revitalised and restored. Depending on your preference for gentle, firm or deep tissue pressure the treatment will be adapted to suit your individual needs. Massage can help the mind by allowing you to let go of stress and switch off as you focus on the soothing effects of the treatment.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that can be beneficial to all ages. It works on the principal that there are reflex areas on the hands and feet that correspond to all parts of the body. Pressure is applied to the feet or hands to detect tiny deposits and imbalances, this helps to release blockages and stimulate the body’s own natural powerful healing response. The aim is to encourage the body’s organs and systems to work at their optimum levels, restoring and maintaining balance.

Seated Acupressure Massage
This is a rejuvenating massage for the upper body that’s an ideal massage for the workplace. Using a combination of massage and acupressure techniques to the back, neck, shoulders, arms hands and scalp this will leave you feeling revitalised and refreshed. It will ease tired and knotted muscles and relieve tension headaches. You don’t need to undress and no oils are used in the treatment so you can go straight back to work.
