Avalon Practice focuses on personal development with regards to emotional, psychological and physiological conditions (see 'Private Practice' for more information), team dynamics, management, leadership development- performance and wellbeing. Our main strength and focus is in the area of behavioural and psychological development. We are committed in achieving long lasting results by continually developing our knowledge and skill and developing others through 1-2-1 consultation and experiential learning interventions.

About Us
Henry Laborero assoc CIPD, MCMI, C.Hyp, D.Hyp, assoc MBSCH, Affiliate MSHA certified NLP Practitioner
Trained at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, qualified in NLP, EFT and Occupational Testing from Firo Element 'B' , to Managerial and Professional profiling, EMDR, WHEE (a blend of EMDR & EFT) and member of the international NLP coaching federation. He is also a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. He is also a Tutor for the LCCH Exeter branch. Henry has worked within and for FTSE 100 organisations internationally. Winner of a training award he has held several senior positions such as Group Managment Development Manager, Training Director and Managing Director of Learning Curve Dynamics and has been in the Human Resources field for over 25 years. Currently studying the latest research in neuroscience in relation to learning and memory.
Heather Grace B.Ed. (Hons) Sport and Human Movement, B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology, C.Hyp, D.Hyp. MBSCH (Assoc).
Heather trains support staff in schools for the LEA and runs workshops in ‘Understanding Your Child’s ‘Behaviour’. A teacher of psychology she is, like Henry, passionate about helping parents understand how children learn, develop learning preferences, and how learning barriers are formed and how to prevent them.
Both Heather and Henry qualified with the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy. Both are Members of The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis which exists to ensure that all recommended therapists have proper training and abide by a strict ethical code of practice.
Henry Laborero has been accepted as a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary & Alternative Practitioners. Henry Laborero has also been trained in the use of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). Henry Laborero is also registered with the Hypnotherapist Register. Henry is also an Affiliate Member of Medical School Hypnosis Association.
