 Reiki

The Japanese word Reiki is derived from “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). It is a healing discipline linked with ancient Buddhist teachings. The founder of Reiki, Dr Mikao Usui, spent many years seeking the knowledge of healing and information on Reiki has been found in Sanskrit texts.

Reiki therapy is the process of healing using the power of energy. It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit which helps you to relax. It offers a safe space to clear the mind, bringing clarity, peace, security and well being and encourages self-healing.

We live in a world of energy. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being. Reiki is a gentle non-invasive method of healing. It is deeply relaxing. It is a simple, natural, and safe method of energy healing and works in conjunction with both orthodox and complementary healthcare.

Reiki treatments can help the body both emotionally and spiritually, and is open to any belief system.

Reiki can be used alongside other conventional or complementary treatment and often helps to provide emotional support during recovery.

 Reflexology

Reflexology is a non invasive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body. A Reflexologist will work holistically to promote better health for the client.

A qualified Reflexologist will be able to detect imbalances, or subtle changes in the reflex points of the feet, or hands, and by working these points can help to restore the body’s natural balance. This will enable to body to begin to heal itself. Tension in the body will be eased. The elimination of waste products will be improved as well as an improvement in circulation.
Reflexology also helps balance the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person, to help lead a more fulfilling and deeper life.
