The ECKLEY Technique, Deep tissue sports massage, NAT (Frozen shoulder) Bowen & Emmett Technique

HOW ANDY CAN HELP YOU

Most muscular injuries start with overuse or trauma incidents that damage the fibres of the muscles causing then to knot and tear. To help this these knots have to be addressed on a deep level otherwise the problem will keep recurring.

Andy's deep tissue massage technique will release these knots and improve the elasticity of your muscles and tendons taking away your pain and restriction.

The ECKLEY technique is the fastest and deepest working technique that Andy has every used giving better results than other therapies like Bowen and EMMETT time after time.

Andy is also qualified in frozen shoulder help using the worldwide known NAT frozen shoulder technique.

Bowen is a most remarkable healing tool as it is all-embracing in its effectiveness. Frozen shoulders frequently respond very dramatically and so do back problems, Elbow and knee pain are often resolved very quickly; together with all other structural or skeletal disorders, but that is not the end of the story. Bowen can also be effective with stress and tension-based problems such as migraine headaches, as well as allergic type symptoms.

Bowen can be safely used from new born infants to the elderly and there are no known contra-indications.

This dynamic hands on therapy is calming, safe and very effective.

Bowen has been found to be an effective treatment for:
  • Muscular and Skeletal problems both Chronic & Acute
  • Frozen Shoulders, Sciatica, Neck Pain
  • Tennis Elbow, Carpel Tunnel, Repetitive Strain Injury
  • Recurring Injuries
  • Migraine, Whiplash Injuries
  • Asthma, Hay Fever
  • Cerebral Palsy, Dispraxia, Autism

Bowen has great results when all else has failed, if you have tried everything else with no relief then give Bowen a try. You may find after only three to six sessions your symptoms have gone!

"Give your body an MOT"

Your body can be likened to a fine racing car that works best when it is in tune, all parts working in harmony to make the machine operate at optimum capability. If one component is broken or worn its effects are felt throughout the entire engine or body.

What’s Bowen Like?
Bowen Therapy is extremely gentle, being likened to "having a conversation with your body" NO MOVES ARE MANIPULATIVE OR PAINFUL,instead of forcing the will of the therapist onto the client in an attempt to move hard structures, Bowen works on the soft tissue surrounding the structures, which are pain free, a change in this allows a change to take place in the bones and joints

How many treatments should I have?
Many ailments are greatly improved or completely resolved after 3 to 6 sessions, even long standing chronic conditions. Once resolved although no more treatments are required, maintenance/top-up treatments are recommended every 4 to 6 weeks. This enables your body to become more flexible, stronger and healthier.

Bowen Therapy deals with the body as a whole, the advantage of dealing with the whole and not just concentrating on a specific injury is that for e.g. a knee injury, although injured, it may be getting injured because of a pelvic tilt or a problem in the back. If we only fix the knee then it will be just a matter of time before the injury occurs again, your body is a continual structure and not made up of separate parts, therefore any remedial therapy needs to deal with the whole body to have lasting effects as with Bowen Therapy.

“There is no point fixing a broken window if the branch that keeps smashing it is still fixed to the tree”

What does Emmett treat?

Ross Emmett is the creator of the Emmett technique this technique is a quick, safe, non manipulative body therapy which aims to release tension to achieve freedom from restrictions and increase your range of movement.

For instance if you have:
  • a shoulder restriction
  • tightness in your hamstrings
  • rounded shoulders
  • tightness in your chest
  • over tight muscles from heavy gym work
  • recurring injuries
  • calf Pain
  • balance problems
  • neck pain
  • neck restrictions
  • carpal tunnel
  • weak grip
  • frozen shoulder

The Emmett technique is a quick, gentle muscle tension release to try for any of the above.
