Chinese Tuina Massage
Used to stimulate points or other parts of the body surface to correct physiological imbalance in the body and achieve curative effects.
The primary effect of tuina is to restore balance; tuina increases or decreases the body's functions to combat either excess or deficiency as appropriate.
Treatments often address the following:
- Cervical spondylosis
- Lumbar muscle strain
- Acute lumbar muscle sprain
- Prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc

About Karen:
Run by Karen Wade, a Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience in nursing. Karen developed an interest in complimentary therapies whilst working in the surgery, realising that many illnesses can be helped by using Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
Karen is a fully qualified Acupuncturist and completed a 4 year diploma in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in March 2004. She has been running her own business ever since.
Karen also completed the Facial Enhancement with Acupuncture course and is able to offer a natural alternative for those wishing for Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture in 2008.
Karen trained in Harley Street during 2007 and is able to offer Facial Aesthetics including; Muscle Relaxant Injections (Botox/Dysport) and Dermal Fillers. She also offers Chemical Peels.
Karen is an active member of The British Medical Acupuncture Society and The Royal College of Nursing.
