About Me

I am an acupuncturist and have been practising in Worcester for several years. I graduated from The College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick with a BA (Hons) degree and a Licence in Acupuncture after 3 years of training.

I am a fully accredited member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), which is the body that represents professional acupuncturists and I am bound to their codes of ethics and professional practice.

Previous to my training in Acupuncture I have achieved a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Counselling. I have also worked for the NHS for nine years, in the field of care, support and counselling.

I deeply believe that health is an equal balance of body, mind and spirit and I treat all my patients holistically. My job in the NHS has meant that I have met and worked with people from all walks of life and I feel that I use all the skills I have developed to help every patient that walks through my treatment room door.

Due to my previous training in Psychology I have a great interest in treating psychoemotional problems with acupuncture. I treat a lot of men and women of all ages for depression, stress and anxiety and have very successful results.

My practice Worcester Acupuncture specialises in gynaecological problems - especially infertilty, miscarriage and supporting women through IVF.

I also support many women through pregnancy as acupuncture is very successful in treating pregnancy symptoms and I offer labour preparation treatment to help women have a smoother, quicker labour.
