Welcome to Pilates with Precision

Pilates with Precision teacher Michelle Elliott trained with the Body Control Pilates Association, which is widely seen as Europe's foremost professional body for Pilates teachers.

Members of the assocation must work to a strict Code of Practice governing teaching standards, professional ethics and continuing education.

Michelle enjoys a range of sporting activities including skiing, snowboarding, running, surfing and horseriding- generally anything outdoors! She started attending Pilates seven years ago following a knee injury and after suffering back pain since a teenager. Michelle believes pilates has improved her core stability, flexibility and strength in all of these sporting activities.

Following a whiplash injury and prolonged periods working in office environments, Michelle found pilates to be a great complement for treatment of her neck and back pain. It was through her own experience and ongoing practice of pilates that inspired her to train with the Body Control Pilates Association.

Michelle currently offers a selection of matwork classes and private lessons for beginners and intermediates. Michelle is also a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals Level 3 Pilates teacher.

Body Control Pilates

Body Control Pilates breaks down the Classic Matwork sequence of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates over 80 years ago. Breaking the exercises down, makes them more accessible for clients of all abilities, and enables clients to start moving towards the Classic Mat in a safe way, re- establishing good patterns of movement.
