SERVICES

Welcome to David Cook Physiotherapy

The practice is situated in the picturesque village of Titchfield, near Fareham, located in the old village bakery. National Health physiotherapy services are provided to Jubilee Surgery in Titchfield and Gudge Heath lane Surgery in Fareham, as well as privately to the general public. The practice has close links with local GP’s and Consultants at Spire Havant and Chalybeate Southampton. The practice is recognised by all major health insurance companies.

We are committed to providing high standards of care, involving a thorough assessment, explanation and treatment programme designed to meet your needs and return you to wellness as soon as possible. Our philosophy is to identify the cause of a problem, as well as the problem itself. This is reflected in our treatment strategies which involve a combination of ‘hands on’ treatments to improve movement and provide relief in the short term, as well as specific exercise and advice to correct the underlying cause of a problem and provide a long term solution. Our aim is to not just make you feel better, but prevent recurrence.

If we feel that you need referral to a Consultant or another health professional (i.e. a podiatrist) for an opinion we will tell you so, and will see that you are referred to the right person for your needs.

David Cook, BSc (Hons), PG Dip (Manip Ther), MCSP, MMACP

David graduated from the University of Southampton in 1999 having completed his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since then he has worked in a number of locations in the UK and Overseas, specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, both in the NHS and private sectors.

David's main focus is David Cook Physiotherapy, although he also works part time for The New Forest Primary Care Trust as a clinical specialist physiotherapist assessing spines. David is a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists having completed a post graduate diploma at the University of Brighton, and specialises in spinal treatment and rehabilitation, although he enjoys seeing all sorts of aches and pains!

When David is not at work he enjoys spending time with his two sons and wife. He also tries to find time to fit in running, cycling and watersports.

Warren Corbett, BSc (Hons) MCSP

Warren graduated with a BSc honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford in 2003. Since then he has worked for 4 years in the North of England before moving to the South Coast and spending the last 2 and a half years working in the Hampshire area. Currently, Warren works both at David Cook Physiotherapy and at Southampton General / Moorgreen hospitals as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, assessing and treating a vast range of different problems from head to toe!

In his spare time, Warren enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, now that his rugby league playing days have drawn to a close!
