About Us
Coastal Care Agency is owned and run by Mrs Jane Archer in the market town of Carnforth, Nr Lancaster. Mrs Archer has over 25 years experience as a qualified registered nurse working in the community setting and therefore has an extensive working knowledge of the care necessary to maintain your independence within your own home whilst protecting your privacy, dignity and the right to freedom of choice. Following a comprehensive assessment of your needs Coastal Care Agency provides high quality care workers who work to achieve National Minimum Standards of care as set out by The Care Standards Act 2002.
All staff are qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in health and social care and follow a comprehensive training programme of annual mandatory training and supervised initial practice. All staff are subject to rigorous CRB and POVA checks prior to employment and are appraised annually to maintain high standards.
Coastal Care Agency is inspected annually by the Commission for Care Quality. Coastal Care Agency has full public liability insurance provided by Lloyds and The British Association of Foot Health Professionals.

With 25 years of registered nurse experience Coastal Care Agency are able to offer services such as:- Getting up
- Dressing
- Washing, showering and bathing
- Administration of medicines
- Preparation of meals
- Laundry
- Shopping and if necessary collection of pensions
- Cleaning
- Respite care and much more
All staff are qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and social care and follow a comprehensive training program.
Coastal Care Agency can provide private care or will accept Social Service Vouchers and direct payments from social services,and social services short stay vouchers.
