SERVICES

Welcome to Godalming Homeopathics

Godalming Homeopathics is a husband and wife practice offering homeopathic consultations, remedies and advice. We are Registered Members of the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom) and practitioners of Classical Homeopathy. We are conveniently situated on the outskirts of Godalming, near Guildford, Surrey, and easy to get to by public transport. The clinic itself is part of a period property that originally served as the town meeting house. It is Grade II listed and one of the oldest buildings in Godalming today.

Homeopathy is a system of medicine that works with the body's own natural intelligence. It is based on the idea that the body is self-maintaining and self-correcting. Symptoms are viewed as the body's attempts to regain health. A homeopathic remedy acts like a signal that directs the body's activity to where it is most needed.

People consult a homeopath for help with a wide range of conditions, from eczema or asthma to anxiety and depression. Many people suffering with a chronic illness find they respond well to homeopathic treatment, even where conventional medicine has little or nothing to offer.

Homeopathy is a complementary medicine and as such we recommend that you maintain regular contact with your conventional doctor. However, during the course of your treatment you may find that you have less need of conventional medicines. Many patients find that they are able to discontinue their conventional medication altogether.

Homeopathy can help people with a diagnosis of:

Cancer, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease and other 'life-changing' illnesses.

Endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and other gynaecological conditions.

Hypertension, high cholesterol and other disorders of the heart and circulation.

Chronic arthritis, lupus and other autoimmune diseases.

Chronic skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and vitiligo.

Allergies and Respiratory Disease - including asthma and COPD.

IBS, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and other disorders of digestion.

Addison's Disease, Grave's Disease and other adrenal, thyroid and pituitary disorders.

Practitioners

Morna Rayner RSHom is a registered nurse with over 15yrs practical experience. She first began to study homeopathy after seeing its use in surgery and obstetrics. After training at The College of Homeopathy, London under some of the countries leading homeopaths, she was offered the opportunity to gain practical experience in India. Morna returned to Britain to continue with her professional studies and took over from Sean as the sole homeopath in a clinic at The University of Surrey. She received her Licentiate award from the College of Homeopathy in 2003 and became a Registered Member of the Society of Homeopaths in 2005.

Sean Rayner RsHom graduated from The College of Homeopathy (London) in 1999. In the same year he set up and ran a homeopathic practice for the counselling service at Roehampton University, where he remained involved for several years, initially as the clinic's homeopath and later in a supervisory role. Sean also held private practices in Guildford and Godalming until 2003, when he established Godalming Homeopathics in partnership with Morna Rayner.

Between 2004 and 2006 Sean taught homeopathy for the local Adult Education Service and volunteered at The Fountain Centre where he provided homeopathic treatment to cancer patients, their families and carers. He went on to complete two years study under Dr A.U. Ramakrishnan, author of 'A Homeopathic Approach to Cancer' and the leading expert in this field. Sean was one of a handful of students to pass the examinations and received his diploma in 'Advanced Therapeutics for Chronic Disease' in December 2006. He completed his clinical training with Dr Ramakrishnan in Mumbai the following year.

Sean actively campaigns for the advancement of homeopathy and is always keen to promote awareness of its benefits. He regularly gives introductory talks on homeopathy to the general public and local support groups. If you would like him to talk to your group, please write an email or give him a call.
