Welcome to Nérine Martin’s website and Body Control
Nérine is a Body Control Pilates consultant working in the Richmond and South West of London area. Her personal consultancy is scheduled at a time convenient to you at home or in your work place. Nérine will come to you and will work with you one-to-one, with a friend or in a group.
Her approach is based on holistic body conditioning which recognises the body as an integrated whole including mind and breathing technique.
About Nérine
Nérine feels passionate about health and fitness, which lead her to gain the Certificate to teach Exercise To Music in 1997. She went on attending workshops, courses and earning various qualifications. In 2001 she did the Associate Pilates Based Skills Diploma. Nérine is also qualified to teach Body Control matwork at beginner, intermediate and advanced level.
Nérine is happy to work in collaboration with osteopaths, physio- and chiropractors. She continues to train and take lessons from well respected pilates teachers. Nérine feels priviledged to carry on to deepen her knowledge and love of pilates through teaching.
Nérine is half French and half Italian born in Belgium. On top of being tri-lingual (French, Italian and English) she also speaks Russian. She holds a degree in Applied Languages Studies and a postgraduate diploma in Education; as well as a National Vocational qualification in training and development.
