Welcome to Higher Moon
Together Hilary and Christina have created Highermoon workshops, with the intention of bringing the ancient wisdom of the east to the modern western world. Combining this wisdom with the most up to date psychological theories, they offer their clients life changing workshops. Highermoon has its roots in our strong desire to be of service to Humanity and the Earth. We envision the highest possibility for ourselves and our planet. In our workshops we aim to raise consciousness, bring the light of awareness to areas where people are blocked and with love and acceptance inspire clients to be clear and focused in their intentions for making a better life for themselves and the world we share.
Hilary began her career as a multi cultural teacher in the east end of London. During her time in London she spent 4 years studying TaiChi, Chi Gong and chi energy healing. For 2 years she studied astrology with a teacher from the Temple of Light in Los Angeles followed by 3 years with the renowned Faculty of Astrological Studies in London. After the birth of her daughter she qualified as a yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. She spent 6 months living with the American sound healer Gandiva Lorcan studying the healing properties of Tibetan bowls, gongs and mantra. This was followed by 5 years with a zen teacher. Co-founder of Venus Match Dating Agency (as seen on BBC1), qualified astrologer, co-creator of TaiYoga and author of The 11:11 Code, she is currently involved in setting up a retreat centre in an ancient convent in the south of France.
Christina McLaughlin studied classical ballet, dance, and drama at Elmhurst Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School and spent 15years running her own dance school. After the birth of her two daughters she trained to be a yoga teacher, first with the British Wheel of Yoga and then Dru Yoga Therapy, with the Life Foundation School of Therapeutics. She also studied at Sacred Space Institute of Psychotherapy and has an Higher National Diploma in psychospiritual counselling. For seven years she ran group workshops in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, dance, stress management, confidence building and assertion, for the world renowned Priory Hospital. Christina is a Reiki Master and is currently teaching yoga and Spiritdance in prisons and psychiatric hospitals. She has a deep love of shamanism and energy medicine and for many years has been studying with a leading shamanic teacher.
