SERVICES

Welcome to Physiofit

PHYSIOFIT is the new name of my clinic, A name change from Osteosport has been decided on, as part of a forward moving package for the clinic. Osteosport was started over 10 years ago going from strength to strength to accommodate patient needs. To continue the growth of the clinic it was felt a name change to PHYSIOFIT would be more reflective of the future pathway of the clinic.

Looking forward to the future with PHYSIOFIT.

About Us

At Physiofit we treat all types of musculoskeletal problems, from headaches to postural difficulties. Depending on your diagnosis we will either treat you on the premises or refer you on to a specialist in that field.

Using the evidence based approach, of total treatment care and not just a quick fix; we aim to return you to full health in a speedy and responsible manner.

Martin began his training in 1991 gaining an International Diploma in Sports Injuries alongside a Diploma for Health and Fitness Teaching in 1993. A further 3 years at the Postgraduate School of Physiotherapy in Maidenhead followed leading to Diplomas in Physiotherapy, Medical Electrotherapy and Manual Manipulation skills. Following the set up of the Physiofit Clinic, further training led to Diplomas in Aromatherapy, Biomechanics Levels 1 and 2 allowing Gait and Postural problems to be mechanically assessed.

Martin returned to the University of Nottingham gaining a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine and membership of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine in 2003. He continues to complete training courses on a regular basis, as required by his governing bodies the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapists) and HPC. Health professionals work in a huge variety of settings but they all must be registered with the HPC (www.hpccheck.org) Martin diversified into the field of Acupuncture gaining his licence to practice in 2004.

The clinic is always busy and expanding to meet patient needs, with Martin committed to maintaining the highest standard of patient care. Along with the care of back pain and general injuries. He also looks after sports injuries, treating local football teams and international runners.
