Welcome to YinYang Healing

I decided to set up YinYang Healing and become a holistic practitioner after experiencing my own health issues and completing extensive training in complementary therapies. I believe it is very important for people to gain knowledge about how our bodies work and regain the power to heal using simple methods.

Complementary therapies date back thousands of years and were extremely effective in assisting the body to heal itself of any health conditions. This has been carried through to the present day where the techniques for these therapies do not appear to have changed a great deal. For example; being stung by a stinging nettle; rub a dock leaf on the affected area.

It appears that society widely accepts that we have to live with certain ailments. Feeling tired all the time is considered to be part of daily life but being energised and ready for anything is what we want to be feeling! By asking ourselves many questions the root cause for any issue can usually be traced and once located plans can be put into action to restore excellent health.

Can YinYang Healing help me?

The answer is simply YES! Whatever your health issues might be I can tailor a programme to suit your needs or alternatively experience any of the relaxing therapies that I offer. Whether you have tried conventional medicine and have found it has not helped or want to use this along side or want to try a safer and alternative route I can help you.

Please feel free to contact me and discuss further, or to book an appointment.

My Background

I developed an interest in complementary therapies having searched for ways to alleviate my health problems over the years. I once had a career as a police officer in the Suffolk Constabulary, but as a result of shift patterns, poor eating habits, and a bad work life balance, I started to become unwell. I did not realise what was happening to me, I was experiencing what I now know to be symptoms of worsening health and ignored what my body was trying to tell me and in 1999 developed M E / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I followed the conventional path with too many to mention visits to doctors and specialists, and being prescribed various medications, of which none seemed to help. I was eventually told that this was something that I would have to live with as there was no known cure.

I refused to accept that it was to be my way of life and was told by a friend that there may be another way to regain my health. I looked at complementary therapies and this decision was to change my life.

My journey of healing had begun and during the process I decided to study various therapies to see if I could help others as well as myself. In May 2008 I reached the end of my journey and now enjoy good health. Throughout this period I have been assisting others and empowering them to help themselves with numerous health conditions.

When I realised my career in the police had finished I did not know what else I could do, my only criteria was to help people. In choosing the path of complementary therapies I know I am doing just that.
